Radio and Television of Montenegro ( cnr, Радио и Телевизија Црне Горе, Radio i Televizija Crne Gore; abbr. /RTCG) is the public service broadcaster of Montenegro. Slavko Kalezić ( cnr, Славко Калезић, ; born 4 October 1985) is a Montenegrin actor, singer and songwriter. He took part in '' X Factor Adria'' but failed to make it to the live shows. He represented Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song "Space". In 2017, he took part in the fourteenth series of ''The X Factor UK'', where he was eliminated from the competition at judges' houses. Beginnings Kalezić studied at the Academy of Performing Arts at Cetinje, Montenegro and later on becoming part of Ensemble of the Montenegrin National Theatre. Montenegrin Language
Montenegrin ( ; cnr, label=none, / ) is a normative variety of the Serbo-Croatian language mainly used by Montenegrins and is the official language of Montenegro. Montenegrin is based on the most widespread dialect of Serbo-Croatian, Shtokavian, more specifically on Eastern Herzegovinian, which is also the basis of Standard Croatian, Serbian, and Bosnian. Montenegro's language has historically and traditionally been called either Serbian or Montenegrin. The idea of a standardized Montenegrin standard language separate from Serbian appeared in the 1990s during the breakup of Yugoslavia, through proponents of Montenegrin independence from the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro. 'Ajde, Kroči
Montenegro debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song "'Ajde, kroči" written by Slaven Knezović and Milan Perić. The song was performed by Stevan Faddy. The Montenegrin broadcaster Radio i televizija Crne Gore (RTCG) organised the national final ''MontenegroSong 2007'' in order to select the Montenegrin entry for the 2007 contest in Helsinki, Finland. Ten entries competed in the national final on 25 February 2007 where public televoting selected "'Ajde, kroči" performed by Stevan Faddy as the winner with 4,747 votes. Montenegro competed in the semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 10 May 2007. Stevan Faddy ( cnr, Стеван Фeди, Stevan Fedi; born 2 September 1986, in Kotor) is a Montenegrin musician. He took part in Montevizija 2005, with "Utjeha". He also participated in Sunčane Skale 2003 singing "Poslednja obala". On 25 February 2007, he won a landslide victory in MontenegroSong 2007 with his song " Ajde Kroči" and won a ticket to represent Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 held in Helsinki, Finland. Stevan was the first singer representing Montenegro after its independence. He is currently living in Podgorica, Montenegro. "Breathe" is a song by Montenegrin singer Vladana Vučinić. The song represented Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy after being internally selected by (RTCG), Montenegro's broadcaster for the Eurovision Song Contest. Vladana Vučinić ( cnr, Владана Вучинић, ; born 18 July 1986), also known mononymously as Vladana, is a Montenegrin singer and songwriter. She represented Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song " Breathe". Life and career Vladana showed interest in music at an early age as her grandfather, Boris Nizamovski was the Head of the Association of Stage Artists of North Macedonia and manager of the Macedonian ensemble Magnifico.
