Wheatus are an American rock band from Northport, New York, formed in 1995. They are known principally for their 2000 single "Teenage Dirtbag", which appeared in the films '' Loser'' and ''Bully'', as well as the HBO miniseries ''Generation Kill'', the Netflix original series ''Girlboss'', '' The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina'', the Hulu original miniseries ''The Girl from Plainville,'' and a 2022 Christmas advertisement for the British chain store Sainsbury’s. Origins Brendan B. Brown, commonly known as ''BBB'' to fans, is the lead vocalist, guitarist, and the only remaining founding member of Wheatus, which he formed in 1995 with his brother, Peter Brown (drums) and Rich Liegey (bass). Brown has also collaborated with James Bourne of Busted and McBusted (a collaboration between Busted and McFly) on several songs for McBusted's album, ''McBusted''. Northport, New York
Northport is a historic maritime Administrative divisions of New York#Village, village on the northern shore of Long Island in Suffolk County, New York, United States. Initially designated Great Cow Harbour by 17th-century English colonists, the area was officially renamed Northport in 1837. In 1894, in an effort to localize governance, the community was incorporated as a village. Northport is known for its Victorian era village center, still bearing Tram, trolley rails from a long since discontinued streetcar line which would transport village residents to the Long Island Rail Road station in East Northport, New York, East Northport. James Bourne
James Elliot Bourne (born 13 September 1983) is an English singer-songwriter and musician. He is known as the co-founder of pop punk bands Busted and Son of Dork, and he also created his own electronic project: Future Boy. From 2013 to 2015 he was a member of McBusted, which consisted of himself, Busted bandmate Matt Willis, and McFly. Personal life Bourne was born in Rochford, Essex to Peter and Maria Bourne and moved to Southend-on-Sea at age ten months. He has a sister named Melissa and two brothers named Nick and Chris. Bourne attended the independent fee-paying Thorpe Hall School in Southend-on-Sea. Bourne plays electric guitar, piano, drums and bass guitar. Relish (band)
Relish are a Northern Irish rock band composed of brothers Ken (vocals and guitar) and Carl (drums, keyboards and vocals) Papenfus, and until 2013 Darren Campbell (bass and vocals). They have released three albums: 2001's "''Wildflowers''" (Platinum), "''Karma Calling''" (Gold) in 2003 (both of these were on the EMI Ireland label), and ''"Connected"'' in 2011. "Wildflowers , Karma Calling was released as a double album package by Universal Records (Ireland) in 2015. The band are perhaps best known for the songs "Rainbow Zephyr" and "You I'm Thinking Of", from their debut album, ''Wildflowers''.
