''Monstertorsdag'' (Monster Thursday) is a Norwegian film from 2004. The film was directed by Arild Østin Ommundsen. It was made by largely the same Stavanger-affiliated crew that made ''Mongoland''. The project also brought in the Danish actors Kim Bodnia and Iben Hjejle. The film takes place in a surfing environment in Jæren and in Stavanger. On "Monster Thursday," the perfect wave will arrive. Iben Hjejle
Iben Hjejle (22 March 1971) is a Danish actress, notable for starring in the Stephen Frears film '' High Fidelity'' (2000). In Denmark, she is perhaps best known for appearing in the Danish television sitcom ''Langt fra Las Vegas'' (''Far from Las Vegas'') and playing the girlfriend of Danish comedian Casper Christensen, her former real life partner. Arild Østin Ommundsen
Arild Østin Ommundsen (born August 5, 1969) is a Norwegian film director and screenwriter. Early life and education Arild Østin Ommundsen was born in Stavanger. He attended Stavanger University College, where he studied directing. Career In 1999, Østin Ommundsen won the Gullstolen Award at the Short Film Festival in Grimstad with the film ''Før solen ståd opp'' (1999). He made his debut with the feature film ''Mongoland'' in 2001, for which he wrote the script together with Gro Elin Hjelle. The film won the Amanda Committee's Golden Clapper technical award in the 2001 Amanda Awards. Siri Margrethe Kalvig (born 6 November 1970 in Stavanger) is the founder and former managing director of the weather forecasting company Storm Weather Center, which was established in 1997.
