Monster Fest
Monster Fest is an annual genre film festival in Melbourne, Australia. Called "Australia's foremost celebration of international cult and horror cinema". As of 2017 it is the only genre film festival in Australia to be supported by the federal screen agency, Screen Australia. 2016 Keynote speaker Ted Kotcheff said of Monster Fest: "I loved the creative energy of Monster Fest, the great programming, the enthusiastic audiences. Shinji Imaoka
a.k.a. is a Japanese film director, screenwriter, and actor. He is one of a group of '' pink film'' directors of the 2000s known collectively as the , which besides Imaoka, also includes Toshiya Ueno, Mitsuru Meike, Yūji Tajiri, Yoshitaka Kamata, Toshirō Enomoto and Rei Sakamoto. Career He is known for directing the Irish monster movie ''Grabbers'' and the British low budget horror comedy '' Tormented'' starring Alex Pettyfer. Jiang Wen (born 5 January 1963) is a Chinese actor, screenwriter, and director. As a director, he is sometimes grouped with the "Sixth Generation" that emerged in the 1990s. Jiang is also well known internationally as an actor, having starred with Gong Li in Zhang Yimou's debut film '' Red Sorghum'' (1986), and more recently as Baze Malbus in the Star Wars film ''Rogue One'' (2016).
