The Nedlands Masters was a professional golf tournament in Australia, held at the Nedlands Golf Club in Nedlands, Perth, Western Australia. It was first played in 1947, again in 1950, and then annually from 1962. Like the Masters Tournament, the winner of the tournament was presented with a green jacket. Greg Chalmers
Greg J. Chalmers (born 11 October 1973) is an Australian professional golfer. Chalmers has played primarily on the PGA Tour of Australasia and PGA Tour. He is a two-time winner of the Australian Open and late in his career eventually won a PGA Tour event, the 2016 Barracuda Championship. Amateur career Chalmers was born in Sydney. He won the 1993 Australian Amateur and the 1994 French Amateur. Dennis Parker (golfer)
Dennis Parker (born March 23, 1950) is an American football coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of North Texas from 1991 to 1993 and at Texas Lutheran University from 2007 to 2009, compiling a career college football record of 17–45–1. Parker began his coaching career in the high school ranks as an assistant at San Antonio Edison, San Antonio Holmes and Converse Judson. At Converse Judson, Parker was the offensive coordinator under coach Frank Arnold, as the team won the 1983 state championship. In 1984, he took over head coaching duties at Marshall, guiding the school to a 56–27–1 record in seven years. In 1990, his team won a state championship versus Converse Judson. Rodger Davis
Rodger Miles Davis (born 18 May 1951) is an Australian professional golfer. Career Davis was born in Sydney. He turned professional in 1974 and spent his regular career playing mainly on the PGA Tour of Australasia and the European Tour. He won the PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit in 1990 and 1991. He made the top ten of the European Tour Order of Merit four times in the late 1980s and early 1990s. His seven European Tour wins included two of Europe's most prestigious tournaments; the British PGA Championship, which he won in 1986 at Wentworth Club, and the season ending Volvo Masters, which he claimed in 1991. Mike Cahill (golfer)
Michael F. Cahill (born 10 December 1951) is an Australian professional golfer. In 1971, Cahill had one of the best years in the history of Victorian amateur golf, becoming the first player to win the Victorian Junior Amateur and Victorian Senior Amateur in the same year. Shortly thereafter, Cahill turned pro and quickly had success, winning the 1977 Australian PGA Championship. In the ensuing years, however, citing personal problems and "poor practice habits," Cahill's game declined. In 1980, however, Cahill renewed his relationship with former mentor Kevin Hartley and his game improved, culminating with a three wins in Western Australia in May 1982. Lyndsay Stephen
Lyndsay Stephen (22 March 1956 – 25 February 2021) was an Australian professional golfer. Stephen had much success early in his career, winning the South Australian Open at the age of 24. There were high expectations for him though he did not always meet them, recording at least seven runner-up finishes during the remainder of the 1980s but rarely winning. In the early 1990s he briefly quit tournament golf, focusing to work as a coach. However, he shortly returned and recorded some late career highlights, including victories at the 1996 South Australian PGA Championship and 2010 Australian PGA Seniors Championship. John Paul Morse (born February 16, 1958) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the Champions Tour. Amateur career Morse was born in Marshall, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan and was an All-American member of the golf team and Big-10 Champion in 1980. He won the 1978 Michigan Amateur and was the Big 10 Championship individual medalist in 1980. He turned professional in 1981.
