The ''Monographs of the Society for Research in Child Development'' is a peer-reviewed academic journal published quarterly by Wiley-Blackwell. It is one of three journals published on behalf of the Society for Research in Child Development. The editor-in-chief is Lynn S. Liben (Pennsylvania State University). Developmental psychology is the science, scientific study of how and why humans grow, change, and adapt across the course of their lives. Child development involves the Human development (biology), biological, developmental psychology, psychological and emotional changes that occur in human beings between birth and the conclusion of adolescence. Childhood is divided into 3 stages of life which include early childhood, middle childhood, and late childhood (preadolescence).
