Monika Enterprises is a Berlin, Germany-based independent record label. Gudrun Gut
Gudrun Gut (born 20 May 1957) is a German electronic musician, DJ, presenter, music producer and founder of the Monika Enterprise. She grew up in the Lüneburger Heide and moved to West Berlin in 1975, where she studied visual arts at the Hochschule der Künste from 1978 to 1984. She was an early member of Einstürzende Neubauten and a founding member of music groups Mania D, Malaria! and Matador. She is the head of the labels Monika Enterprise and Moabit Musik. She co-presented the Oceanclub weekly radio program in Berlin with Thomas Fehlmann. Her debut solo album, ''I Put a Record On'' was released on 5 February 2007. Music critics saluted the openness and approachability of the music on the record. According to ''The Wire'' magazine's April 2008 issue, which featured Gudrun Gut on the cover, "this 'dilettante' has genially hosted Berlin's new music scene for 30 years". ''Wallpaper'', stylized ''Wallpaper*'', is a publication focusing on design and architecture, fashion, travel, art, and lifestyle. The magazine was launched in London in 1996 by Canadian journalist Tyler Brûlé and Austrian journalist Alexander Geringer. It is now owned by Future plc after its acquisition of TI Media. History Brûlé sold the magazine to Time Warner in 1997. Brûlé stayed on as editorial director until 2002, when he was replaced by Jeremy Langmead. Antye Greie
Antye Greie (aka AGF or Poemproducer) is a vocalist, musician, composer, producer, and new media artist. Life Greie was born and raised in East Germany. Her work involves speech combined with electronic music. She works on sound installations, moving image, audio visualization and real time video processing. In 2009, as part of the collective The Lappetites, she staged the multimedia opera ''Fathers'' in Berlin Haus der Kulturen der Welt. In 2011 she initiated the arts organization Hai Art on the island of Hailuoto becoming the curator. Greie has written two feature film scores, theater and dance plays. Barbara Morgenstern
Barbara Morgenstern (born March 19, 1971) is a German electronic music artist, keyboardist and singer. Biography Born in Hagen, Germany, Morgenstern describes herself as self-taught, although she had piano lessons as a child and jazz lessons at the school of music in Hagen. In addition to having played in a band, she decided on a career in music in 1991 after completing her schooling at the Ernst Meister Gymnasium (school), Gymnasium in Hagen-Haspe. From 1992 until 1994 Barbara Morgenstern lived in Hamburg, working on her own music as well as singing in an a cappella group. She took part in a six-week popular music course at the Hamburg Vocational university, Hochschule. In 1994 she moved to Berlin, where she initially played keyboards in a band, and from 1996 onward she concentrated on her own music. The Cobra Killer duo of Gina V. D'Orio and Annika Trost began as part of Alec Empire's Digital hardcore movement. Both were part of other bands signed to Empire's Digital Hardcore Recordings label—D'Orio was in EC8OR, and Trost was in Shizuo. When Empire's label cut back on its bands, many of the DHR groups folded, but D'Orio and Trost kept going.
