Mongolia National Cricket Team
The Mongolia national cricket team is the team that represents Mongolia in international men's cricket. In July 2021, the International Cricket Council (ICC) inducted the team as an Associate Member, becoming the 22nd member in the Asia region. Mongolia Cricket Association
The Mongolia Cricket Association (MCA) was established in 2007 by Battulga Gombo in the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar. Founding The Mongolia Cricket Association (MCA) was founded to help develop cricket as a recognized sport in Mongolia, at both an academic and national level. MCA began organizing regular cricket games and training sessions in Melbourne in 2012. Many Mongolian students have been involved in these activities, and some of them became members of the association. Over one hundred Mongolians and Australians have attended the matches and training sessions thus far. Battulga Gombo, the founder of MCA, has become the cricket coach after finishing his time with Cricket Australia. The Asian Cricket Council also known as ACC is a cricket organisation which was established in 1983, to promote and develop the sport of cricket in Asia. Subordinate to the International Cricket Council, the council is the continent's regional administrative body, and currently consists of 26 member associations. Jay Shah is the current president of Asian Cricket Council. History The council was formed as the Asian Cricket Conference in New Delhi, India, on 19 September 1983, with the original members being Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, and Sri Lanka. The Zhejiang University of Technology (Pingfeng Campus) Cricket Field (), also known as the Pingfeng Campus Cricket Ground (), is a cricket field located on the Pingfeng Campus of Zhejiang University of Technology, in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. Overview It is the largest cricket field in China in terms of construction area, and is the only cricket field in Zhejiang Province that meets international competition standards. The cricket field was built in 2020 in preparation for the 2022 Asian Games, which were held in Hangzhou. It has a capacity of 1,347 spectators, and features a 26.5m x 12.5m rectangular pitch in the center of the field. The 2022 Asian Games (), officially known as the 19th Asian Games (), also known as Hangzhou 2022, ( zh, c=杭州2022, p=Hángzhōu Èr líng èr èr), will be a multi-sport event celebrated in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. The Nepal national cricket team ( ne, नेपाल राष्ट्रिय क्रिकेट टीम) nicknamed The Rhinos and Gorkhalis, represents the country of Nepal in International cricket and is governed by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). Maldives National Cricket Team
The Maldives national cricket team represents the country of the Maldives in international cricket. Although they did not become an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) until 2001, they have taken part in the ACC Trophy on every occasion since its inception in 1996. They have never progressed beyond the first round of the tournament. They became an associate member in 2017. In cricket, a batter is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batter is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress.
