Adrian Monger
Adrian Calero Monger (6 December 1932 – 10 July 2016) was an Australian rower. He was twice Australian national champion and competed at the 1956 Summer Olympics where he won a bronze medal in the men's eight. Club and state rowing Monger was educated at Geelong Grammar School where he took up rowing. As a resident at Trinity College at Melbourne University he became involved with the Melbourne University Boat Club. Later he rowed from the Mercantile Rowing Club in Melbourne. . He first made state selection for Victoria in 1954 in the men's eight contesting the King's Cup at the annual Australian Interstate Regatta. He rowed in further Victorian King's Cup eights in 1955 and 1956, and those crews were victorious in 1954 and 1956. Billy Monger
Billy Monger (born 5 May 1999) is a British racing driver who raced in British F4 in 2016 and 2017. He is now also a commentator/pundit and TV personality. He is also referred to by the nickname '' Billy Whizz''. after the character in British comic ''The Beano''. In April 2017, he was critically injured after being involved in a collision at Donington Park that caused both of his legs to be amputated, one below the knee and the other above the knee. Until that, he had been heavily involved in kart racing all over the UK and the Channel Islands and then a successful Ginetta Junior racer. After treatment and therapy, Monger returned to competition in November 2017. New Model Army are an English Rock music, rock band formed in Bradford, West Yorkshire, in 1980 by lead vocalist, guitarist and principal songwriter Justin Sullivan, bassist Stuart Morrow and drummer Phil Tompkins. Christopher Monger (born 1950, in Taffs Well, Cardiff, Wales) is a Welsh screenwriter, director and editor, best known for writing and directing ''The Englishman who Went up a Hill but Came down a Mountain'' and writing the HBO biopic ''Temple Grandin''. He has directed eight feature films and written over thirty screenplays. Early life Monger was born in Taff's Well, Wales. After attending boarding school in Taunton, Somerset, he went to the Chelsea School of Art, London. After graduating he returned to Wales and was a founding member of the Chapter Film Workshop. Frederick Monger
Frederick Charles Monger (25 January 1863 – 15 November 1919) was an Australian businessman and politician who was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia from 1892 to 1903 and again from 1905 to 1914, representing the seat of York. He and his father, John Henry Monger, were the first father–son pair to be elected to the Parliament of Western Australia. Early life Monger was born in York, Western Australia, to Henrietta Joaquina (née Manning) and John Henry Monger. Both his father and uncle ( Joseph Taylor Monger) were members of the Legislative Council. Monger was sent to Melbourne to be educated, attending Wesley College, and on his return began working for his father. He later involved himself in various mining ventures, and for a period was a joint owner of Wooramel Station (near Carnarvon).

George Monger
George Monger (3 March 1840 – 9 August 1887) was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. Details Monger was 17 years old, and a private in the 23rd Regiment of Foot (later The Royal Welch Fusiliers), British Army during the Indian Mutiny when the following deed took place on 18 November 1857 at Secundra Bagh, Lucknow, India for which he was awarded the VC: Private Monger volunteered to accompany an officer, Thomas Bernard Hackett, whom he assisted in rescuing a corporal of the 23rd Regiment of Foot, who was lying wounded and exposed to very heavy fire. His citation reads: Further information He died in 1887 at the age of 47 from tuberculosis. He is buried at Hastings Cemetery, East Sussex, in section H, grave E-18 common. John Monger
John Henry Monger Jr (25 January 1831 – 23 December 1892) was a Member of the Western Australian Legislative Council from 1870 to 1875, and again from 1890 to 1892. Monger was born in Perth, Western Australia in 1831; his father, John Henry Monger Snr, was a prominent York merchant. His younger brother, Joseph Taylor Monger, would also become a York merchant and a Member of the Legislative Council. Monger spent much of his early life in England, and again visited England in 1856–57, where he married Henrietta Joaquina Manning on 21 July 1857. They would have 4 sons and 4 daughters. On returning to Western Australia, Monger established himself as a merchant at York, competing against his father and brother.
