Brianne Moncrief is an American soap opera actress. She was best known for the role of Colby Chandler on '' All My Children''. Moncrief was born in San Jose, California, but grew up in Mission Viejo. She has trained at Lincoln Center, the London Dramatic Academy, and Fordham University, where she earned a degree in performing arts. The role of Colby Chandler on All My Children was Moncrief's first television job as a series regular, and she was hired to replace actress Ambyr Childers, who had originated the role. She first aired on May 7, 2008, but her contract was not picked up in November 2009. Moncrief has also taken on directing and producing. She lives in Los Angeles. Donte Rakeem Moncrief (born August 6, 1993) is an former American football wide receiver. He played college football at Ole Miss, and was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. High school career A native of Raleigh, Mississippi, Moncrief attended Raleigh High School. He registered 21 catches for 441 yards and 9 touchdowns as a senior while also passing for 365 yards with 2 touchdowns and rushing 12 times for 144 yards. He also returned two punts for touchdowns. He collected 48 tackles, four for loss, and four interceptions on defense. In addition to football, Moncrief also competed in track & field for the Lions, where he was one of the state's top performers in the long jump. Michael J. Moncrief is an American retired judge and politician who served as the 43rd mayor of Fort Worth, Texas, from 2003 to 2011. Moncrief started his political career when elected to the Texas Legislature on Nov.3,1970, serving for two years. From 1974 to 1986, he served as judge of the Tarrant County Commissioners Court. Sidney Alvin Moncrief (born September 21, 1957) is an American former professional basketball player. As an NCAA college basketball player from 1975 to 1979, Moncrief played for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks, leading them to the 1978 Final Four and a win in the NCAA Consolation Game versus #6 Notre Dame. Vincent Edward Moncrief is an American mathematician and physicist at Yale University. He works in relativity and mathematical physics. Moncrief earned his doctorate in 1972 at the University of Maryland College Park under the supervision of Charles William Misner and worked subsequently at the University of California Berkeley and at the University of Utah. He grew up in Oklahoma City. A key result (obtained jointly with Arthur Fischer of the University of California at Santa Cruz) was to relate the reduced Hamiltonian for Einstein's equations to a topological invariant known as the Yamabe invariant (or sigma constant) for the spatial manifold and to show that the reduced Hamiltonian is monotonically decreasing along all solutions of the field equations (in the direction of cosmological expansion) and therefore evidently seeking to attain its infimum which in turn is expressible in terms of the sigma constant.
