Mona Abou Hamze
Mona Abou Hamze ( ar, منى أبو حمزة) ( Abu Alwan; october 2, 1972) is a Lebanese people, Lebanese TV personality and presenter, born in Barouk into a Lebanese Druze family. She is best known for hosting the Lebanese show ''Talk of the Town'' on Murr Television, MTV since April 2009, where she has had over 2000 guests, from different backgrounds and cultures. Career She was a jury member on ''Mouzii el Arab'', the only Pan-Arab TV Show solely dedicated to choosing future TV presenters, which first aired in 2015 on Abu Dhabi Al Oula, Abu Dhabi TV and Al Hayat TV station. Abou Hamze is also a member of the Jury of Celebrity Duets Arab World, Celebrity Duets (Arabic version) which is broadcast on Murr Television, MTV and Middle East Broadcasting Center, MBC, working alongside musicians Oussama Rahbani and Tarek Abou Jaoude, then Simon Asmar. Barouk
Barouk ( ar, باروك) is a village in the Chouf District of Mount Lebanon Governorate in Lebanon. Barouk is located 52 kilometers southeast of Beirut. Its average elevation is 1000 to 1200 meters above sea level and its total land area consists of 2,762 hectares. The village had 5,197 registered voters in 2010. Its inhabitants are predominantly Druze and Maronite and Melkite Christians. Historically, Barouk is known for being the "land of good", because of its fountain, Nabeh-el-Barouk. The poet Rachid Nakhleh, the writer of the national hymn, ''Kulluna lel watan'', was born in Barouk. The village is also well known for its apples and other fruits, and for its many pine and oak forests. Barouk is named after the adjacent mountain of Jabal el-Barouk, which stands 1,943 meters above sea level. Tarek Abou Jaoude
Tarek Abou Jaoude (usually spelled: ''Tarek Abou Jaoudeh''; ar, طارق أبو جودة) is a Lebanese composer and former business manager of Najwa Karam. He presented the singer Yara to the audience and chose her stage name, "Yara", composed her several songs. Career Abu Joudeh is the nephew of Najwa Karam and now he is the business manager of the Lebanese artist Yara. Walid Jumblatt
Walid Kamal Jumblatt ( ar, وليد جنبلاط; born 7 August 1949) is a Lebanese Druze politician and former militia commander who has been leading the Progressive Socialist Party since 1977. While leading the Lebanese National Resistance Front and allying with the Amal Movement during the Lebanese Civil War, he worked closely with Suleiman Frangieh to oppose Amine Gemayel's rule as president in 1983. After the civil war, he initially supported Syria but later led an anti-Assad stance during the start of the Syrian Civil War. He is still active in politics, most recently leading his party, the Progressive Socialist Party (PSP) in the 2022 Lebanese general election. Oussama Rahbani
Oussama Al Rahbani ( ar, أسامة الرحباني) (born 1965) is a Lebanese musician and composer. He is the son of the Lebanese composer, musician and poet Mansour Rahbani. Oussama completed his education at Collège des Frères Maristes Champville until 1973, Collège des Apôtres, Jounieh until 1982 and finally Kaslik, where he got his Lebanese baccalaureate. He studied History at the Lebanese University. A keen soccer fan, he played as an amateur. He took piano lessons from a young age and music courses at Berklee College of Music in 1990 and 1995. His music shows have an influence from his brother Marwan Rahbani and cousin Ziad Rahbani; classical music and jazz music. Oussama's background in classical music developed alongside Marwan, and Ghadi Rahbani. He is also an avid music collector.
