Mon Amour Mon Parapluie
''Mon Amour, Mon Parapluie'' is a short film directed by Giada Dobrzenska and featuring cameo appearances by William Gibson and Douglas Coupland. The film was nominated for nine categories of British Columbia's Leo Awards, including one to Studio X for sound editing. It was an official 2007 selection at Big Sur International Film Festival. Douglas Coupland (born 30 December 1961) is a Canadian novelist, designer, and visual artist. His first novel, the 1991 international bestseller '' Generation X: Tales for an Accelerated Culture'', popularized the terms ''Generation X'' and ''McJob''. He has published thirteen novels, two collections of short stories, seven non-fiction books, and a number of dramatic works and screenplays for film and television. William Gibson
William Ford Gibson (born March 17, 1948) is an American-Canadian speculative fiction writer and essayist widely credited with pioneering the science fiction subgenre known as ''cyberpunk''. Jeff Seymour
Jeff Seymour is an American-Canadian actor. He is most noted for his role as Kamal Azizi in the Canadian television drama series '' The Eleventh Hour'', for which he won the Gemini Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series at the 18th Gemini Awards in 2003. The VIFF Centre (formerly the Vancouver International Film Centre and the Vancity Theatre) is a movie theatre in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, which houses the 175-seat Vancity Theatre, the 41-seat Studio Theatre, as well as the offices for the Vancouver International Film Festival.
