Momchil Tsvetanov
Momchil Emilov Tsvetanov ( bg, Момчил Емилов Цветанов; born 3 December 1990) is a Bulgarian professional footballer. Although he predominantly plays as a winger, he has also been deployed as a left-back. A product of Spartak Pleven's youth academy, he has represented Bulgaria at all youth levels. Tsvetanov was part of U19 squad for the 2008 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. Club career Spartak Pleven Born in Pleven, Tsvetanov began his career playing for local club Spartak. On 9 September 2006, at the age of 16 he made his professional debut in the B Group, playing the second half of a 3–0 defeat to Minyor Pernik. He scored his first goal on 7 April 2007 against Hebar Pazardzhik in a 2–0 home league victory. He made 15 league appearances, scoring three goals during his debut season. PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv ( bg, ПФК Локомотив Пловдив), commonly known as Loko Plovdiv, is a Bulgarian professional football club based in Plovdiv. Lokomotiv's home ground is the Lokomotiv Stadium which is situated in Lauta Park and has a capacity of 14,000 spectators. Founded on 25 July 1926, Lokomotiv is one of the most popular teams in Bulgaria and currently competes in the top-flight First League, which they have won once (in 2004). 2008 UEFA European Under-19 Championship
The final tournament of the 2008 UEFA European Under-19 Championship was the 24th UEFA European Under-19 Championship, UEFA's premier competition for players under the age of 19. The tournament was held in the Czech Republic with matches played from 14 July to 26 July 2008. Players born after 1 January 1989 were eligible to participate in this competition. The top three teams in each group qualified for the 2009 U-20 World Cup. Qualification Qualification for the final tournament was played over two stages. The first qualifying stage divided the remaining 52 UEFA nations (minus the hosts, the Czech Republic) into 13 groups of four teams. Vereya ( bg, Верея) is a Bulgarian association football club based in Stara Zagora, which currently competes in the Southeast Third League, the third tier of Bulgarian football. Vereya was founded in 2001. The team made a remarkable rise through the levels of the Bulgarian football system, and by 2016, the club reached the top level of Bulgarian football, the First League, for the first time. Bulgarian Cup
The Bulgarian Cup ( bg, Купа на България, Kupa na Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa Conference League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it. The competition has been dominated by Sofia-based teams. The Sofia teams have won together a total number of 65 titles. The three most successful teams are Levski Sofia (26 cups), CSKA Sofia (21 cups) and Slavia Sofia (8 cups). The current cup holders are Levski Sofia, who beat CSKA Sofia 1–0 in the 2022 final. The 2011–12 UEFA Champions League was the 57th season of Europe's premier club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 20th season in its current Champions League format. As part of a trial that started in the 2009–10 UEFA Europa League, two extra officials – one behind each goal – were used in all matches of the competition from the play-off round. FK Mogren was a football club based in Budva, Montenegro. Founded in 1920, it was two times champion of Montenegrin First League and once winner of Montenegrin Cup. In 2015, following the bankruptcy and debts, FK Mogren was relegated to the lowest-rank competition of football in Montenegro. Svetoslav Todorov ( bg, Светослав Тодоров; born 30 August 1978) is a former Bulgarian international footballer. He played as a forward. Todorov is the all-time top scorer for Litex Lovech in the Bulgarian A Football Group. Club career Early career After being part of the youth system since the age of 6, Todorov began his career at Bulgarian First Division club Dobrudzha Dobrich in 1996–97, scoring twice in twelve appearances. FC Hebar ( bg, Футболен клуб Хебър) is a Bulgarian association football club based in Pazardzhik. The club currently competes in the First League, the first tier of the Bulgarian football league system. Founded in 1918, Hebar hss played at their current home ground, Georgi Benkovski Stadium, since 1989.
