Molokai Airport, also known as Hoolehua Airport is a state-owned, public use airport located six nautical miles (7 mi, 11 km) northwest of Kaunakakai, on the island of Molokai in Maui County, Hawaii, United States. It is the principal airport of the island. The largest plane to ever fly here regularly was a Boeing 737-200 jet, which seats 127 passengers. It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2021–2025, in which it is categorized as a non-hub primary commercial service facility. Halawa, Molokai
Halawa ( haw, Hālawa, ) is a valley and ahupua'a (traditional land division) at the eastern end of the island of Molokai in Hawaii, United States. The valley extends some 2 miles inland from the sea. At the head of the valley are two waterfalls, the Mo'aula Falls, high, and the Hipuapua Falls, high. Halawa is the site of one of the earliest settlements in Hawaii. The archeological features of the valley date back 1,350 years, the longest period of continuous Hawaiian cultural development. The valley was extensively used for the production of taro, and at one time supported a population of several thousand. Archeological remains include 17 heiau (temples), irrigation channels and ancient walls and terraces. The traditional Hawaiian way of life continued in Halawa well into the 20th century. Lanai Airport , also written as Lānai Airport, is a state-owned public-use airport located three nautical miles or about 3.4 miles (6 km) southwest of the central business district of Lanai City (Lānai City), in Maui County, Hawaii. Kalaupapa Airport
Kalaupapa Airport is a regional public use airport of the state of Hawaii, located on the northern peninsula of the island of Molokai, two nautical miles (4 km) north of Kalaupapa Settlement, in Kalawao County. Most flights to Kalaupapa originate from Molokai Airport or from airports on the other Hawaiian islands by unscheduled air taxis and general aviation. It is also used as a cargo facility carrying goods for Kalaupapa, which has no road access from the rest of Molokai. The airport offered scheduled passenger service from Makani Kai Air, which began providing scheduled passenger service in January 2012, using two nine-seat Cessna Grand Caravans.
