Molinos El Pirata
Pirata Fútbol Club is a Peruvian professional soccer club based in José Leonardo Ortiz District in the city of Chiclayo, Lambayeque Region. The team currently competes in the Liga 2. History The club was founded on November 15, 2015 in the José Leonardo Ortiz District. It is named after the brother of honorary president Luis Alberto Guevara. Molinos El Pirata is owned by G&B Molinos, a rice processing plant. El Pirata had a very successful maiden campaign which it started from the José Leonardo Ortiz District League in the Copa Perú. That year it finished the district league as runner-up and won the Chiclayo provincial league. It would then go on to become the Lambayeque departmental champion and qualify for the National Stage for the first time. In the national stage it finished 14th out of 50 with three games won, two draws, and only one defeat against Comercial Aguas Verdes. Lambayeque, Peru
Lambayeque is a city on the coast of northern Peru and capital of the homonymous district and province in the department of Lambayeque. It is located 4.7 km from the city of Chiclayo and 13 km from the Pacific Ocean. A seed is a competitor or team in a sport or other tournament who is given a preliminary ranking for the purposes of the draw. Franco León
Franco José León Genit (born 12 July 1998) is a Peruvian footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Pirata FC. Club career Early years León is a product of Alianza Lima. In May 2015, he went on a trial at Hércules CF since he also had a European passport. The trial went well and he was offered to return in August. During the trial, León also played a friendly game for the club's B-team. However, he never officially signed for the club. Deportivo Municipal León joined Deportivo Municipal from Alianza Lima in 2016 and was later promoted to the club's reserve team, where he also became the captain. After good performances, he was called up for two Peruvian Primera División games in 2017, however, he remained on the bench in both games. 2018 Copa Perú
The 2018 Peru Cup season ( es, Copa Perú 2018), the largest amateur tournament of Peruvian football, started in February. This edition has featured a change, with the elimination of the Regional Stage and the inclusion of participants from all the Regions of Peru in the National Stage. Under the new format, the tournament has four stages.
