Moldovan Ministry Of Internal Affairs
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova () is one of the thirteen ministries of the Government of Moldova. It is the main executive body responsible for the Trupele de Carabinieri. History During the Moldavian Democratic Republic, Vladimir Cristi served as Director General for Internal Affairs. The Ministry was created upon cessation by Soviet Union of Bessarabia which was part of Romania in 1940. On 8 August 1940 The Government of Soviet Union has announced creation of NKVD Internal affairs organization that was responsible public order and state secret service in newly created Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic. After the World War II now with permanent soviet occupation local organization of NKVD on 26 March 1946 changes name to Ministry of Internal Affairs thus being direct inherit to current Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova. Dumitru Braghiș
Dumitru Braghiș (; born December 28, 1957, the village of Grătieşti, today suburb of Chișinău) is a Moldovan political figure. He is the current Moldovan Ambassador to China and Vietnam, appointed in mid-2020. He was the Prime Minister of Moldova from 1999 until 2001. Then, he was a member of the Parliament of Moldova, where he represented the Party Alliance Our Moldova. Ion Ciubuc (; 29 May 1943 – 29 January 2018) was an economist and a Moldovan politician who served as the 3rd Prime Minister of Moldova from January 1997 to February 1999. Biography Ion Ciubuc was born on 29 May 1943 in the village of Hădărăuţi (today in Ocniţa district). He graduated from the Agricultural Institute in Odessa in 1970, obtaining the qualification of a specialist in the agrarian economy. He subsequently obtained his Ph.D. in economics. Sangheli Ministry
Parliamentary elections were held in the Moldavian SSR in February and March 1990 to elect the 380 members of the Supreme Soviet. They were the first and only free elections to the Supreme Soviet of the MSSR, and although the Communist Party of Moldova was the only registered party allowed to contest the election, opposition candidates were allowed to run as independents. Together with affiliated groups, the Popular Front of Moldova won a landslide victory. Candidates who were openly supporters of the Popular Front won about 27% of seats; together with moderate Communists, mainly from rural districts, they commanded a majority. On 5 June the Supreme Soviet renamed the Moldavian SSR the "Soviet Socialist Republic of Moldova" and issued a Declaration of Sovereignty on 23 June. It subsequently removed references to ''socialism'' and ''soviets'' on 23 May 1991 by adopting the name "Republic of Moldova", and declared full independence from the Soviet Union on 27 August 1991.
