Moira Delia (born 30 October 1971 in Malta) is a Malta, Maltese television presenter and actress. She hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Marsa, Malta and was the first person to single-handedly host the contest. Previously, Delia has hosted Malta Song for Europe, Malta's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 was the 12th edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and took place, for the first time, in Malta. This was the third time that the contest was hosted by the winning country. Maltese national broadcaster PBS was the host broadcaster for the event. The final took place on 15 November 2014 and was in the Malta Shipbuilding in Marsa, near Valletta. Moira Delia, a Maltese television personality, hosted the show, marking the first time in Junior Eurovision history that there was only one presenter of the show. The interval included a performance by last year's winner Gaia Cauchi and La Voix Academy featuring Andy Shaw and Veronica Rotin. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest is an annual international song competition, held every year by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) since 2003. This page is a list of people who have acted as presenters of the contest. Since the contest began in 2003, it usually has two presenters. Malta has entered the Junior Eurovision Song Contest eighteen times since debuting at the first contest in 2003 with Sarah Harrison. Entrants for the Contest were selected by a national selection, organised by the Maltese broadcaster PBS from 2003 to 2010. In 2013, the country opted for an internal selection since the broadcaster decided to return to the contest at a rather late stage (25 September 2013). Timur Valeriyovych Miroshnychenko ( Ukrainian: Тімур Валерійович Мірошниченко) (born 9 March 1986) is a Ukrainian TV presenter for the channel UA:PBC. He was the host of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009 together with Ani Lorak, and again in 2013 with Zlata Ognevich. Timur also co-hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. Biography Miroshnychenko was born on 9 March 1986 in Kyiv. In his years as a student he was a member of KVN student's team. His TV career began in 2005, when he became a commentator for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2005 — the first JESC to broadcast in Ukraine. Poli Plamenova Genova ( bg, Поли Пламенова Генова; born 10 February 1987) is a Bulgarian singer, songwriter, actress, and television presenter. Genova began her career in 1991, at the age of four, as a member of the Bulgarian children's ensemble Bon-Bon.
