Mohsin Latif
Mian Mohsin Latif is a Pakistani politician who was a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab between 2008 and 2015. Early life He was born in Lahore to Mian Abdul Latif, brother of Kulsoom Nawaz Sharif. He graduated from Forman Christian College in 1992. He is thus a great grandson of the legendary Gama Pehlwan & grandson of Dr. Abdul Hafeez of Misri Shah, Lahore who ran a dispensary from 1938 to 1999. In 2018, Mohsin Latif opened a dispensary free to the public at the same location in memory of his father & grandfather. Political career He was elected from PP-147 – Lahore as a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) (PML-N) in 2008 Pakistani general election. Kulsoom Nawaz Sharif
Begum Kulsoom Nawaz Sharif ( Punjabi, ur, ; 29 March 1948– 11 September 2018) was a Pakistani politician who had been the first lady of Pakistan for three non-consecutive terms; from 1990 to 1993, 1997 to 1999 and then from 2013 to 2017. She was the President of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) from 1999 to 2002. Early and personal life Kulsoom was born on 29 March 1948 in Lahore into a Punjabi butt family, to Hafiz Butt. Forman Christian College is an private liberal arts university in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was founded in 1864 and is administered by the Presbyterian Church. The university follows an American-style curriculum. Founded in 1864 by American Presbyterian missionary Charles William Forman, the college was initially named Mission College, and changed its name in 1894 to Forman Christian College, in honor of its founder. Forman served as an associated college of the University of Calcutta until 1947 when it became affiliated with the University of Punjab. In 2004, the government granted it university charter hence providing it with degree awarding authority. Ghulam Mohammad Baksh Butt (22 May 1878 – 23 May 1960), commonly known as ''Rustam-e-Hind'' (Hindi-Urdu for ''Rostam of Hindostan'') and by the ring name The Great Gama, was a pehlwani wrestler and strongman in British India. In the early 20th century, he was an undefeated wrestling champion of India . Born in the village of Jabbowal, Amritsar District in the Punjab Province of British India in 1878, Baksh was awarded a version of the World Heavyweight Championship on 15 October 1910. General elections were held in Pakistan on Saturday 11 May 2013 to elect the members of the 14th National Assembly and the four Provincial Assemblies. The three major parties were the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) led by Nawaz Sharif, the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) led by President Asif Ali Zardari and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led by Imran Khan.
