Mohsen Dalir
Mohammad Mohsen Delir ( fa, محمد محسن دلیر, born 3 July 1988 in Marand) is an Iranian footballer who currently plays for Machine Sazi . Club career Gostaresh Foolad Delir is a youth product of Gostaresh. He joined the newly found team in 2008 and was promoted to the first team in March 2009 and played in 2010 Hazfi Cup Final against Persepolis. Loan to Machine Sazi He was then loaned to Machine Sazi for the 2011–12 season, where he worked under head coach Rasoul Khatibi. They missed Iran Pro League promotion in the final week, and Delir was returned to Gostaresh at the end of the season after he scored four goals in 14 matches. Return to Gostaresh He worked again with Khatibi for the next season and led Gostaresh to promotion after scoring 10 goals in 20 matches. He was his team's top scorer. Marand
Marand ( fa, مرند; ; also Romanized as Morand) is a city and capital of Marand County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. Marand is among major cities in the province. It is located in the north-west of capital of the province Tabriz. Marand has been known by various names in history, such as ''Maryana'', ''Mandagarana'', and ''Maranda''. Etymology Moritz von Kotzebue and August von Haxthausen both described local legends that placed the burial spot of Noah's wife at Marand. 2014 AFC Champions League
The 2014 AFC Champions League was the 33rd edition of the top-level Asian club football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the 12th under the current AFC Champions League title. Guangzhou Evergrande were the defending champions, but were eliminated by Western Sydney Wanderers in the quarter-finals. 2013–14 Hazfi Cup
The 2013–14 Hazfi Cup was the 27th season of the Iranian football knockout competition. Sepahan was the defending champion, but was eliminated by Sanat Naft in Round of 32. The competition started on 4 September 2013 and ended on 14 February 2014. Tractor won the title with defeating Mes Kerman in the final. 2012–13 Azadegan League
The 2012–13 Azadegan League was the 22nd season of the Azadegan League and 12th as the second highest division since its establishment in 1991. The season featured 19 teams from the 2011–12 Azadegan League, three new teams relegated from the 2011–12 Persian Gulf Cup: Shahin Bushehr, Shahrdari Tabriz and Mes Sarcheshmeh and four new teams promoted from the 2011–12 2nd Division: Esteghlal Ahvaz as champions, Gostaresh Foulad and Hafari Ahvaz. Azadegan League
The Azadegan League ( fa, ليگ آزادگان, ''Lig-e Âzâdegân''), also known as League 1 ( fa, لیگ یک, ''Lig-e Yek''), is the second highest division of professional football in Iran. It was the top-level football league in Iran from its foundation in 1991 until 2001, when the Persian Gulf Pro League was established. Each year, the top finishing teams in the Azadegan League are promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to League 2. Since 2016, the league comprises 18 teams. The winner and the runner-up of the Azadegan League are automatically promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League. The Asian Football Confederation is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in some countries/territories in Asia and Oceania. Hazfi Cup
Hazfi Cup (Jām-e Hazfi; ) is the Iranian football knockout cup competition, run by the Iranian Football Federation. The Iranian football league was not held during the 1980s, hence the winner of Hazfi Cup represented Iran in the Asian Club Championship. After the revive of the league system, the champion of Iranian league qualified for Asian Club Championship and the winner of Hazfi Cup ran for Asian Cup Winners' Cup. However, the Asian Cup Winners' Cup merged with the Asian Champions Cup in 2002–03 to form the AFC Champions League and Iran had been initially given two (and later four) slots in this competitions. The IRIFF decided to award one of Iran's AFC Champions League spots to the winner of the Hazfi Cup, and since then, the winners of Hazfi Cup have always been allocated a spot in the AFC Champions League.
