Mohomaya
''Mohomaya'' is a Bengali web series directed by Kamaleswar Mukherjee. The series started streaming on the Bengali OTT platform Hoichoi. The series featuring Swastika Mukherjee, Ananya Chatterjee and Bipul Patra in the lead roles. Plot Rishi (Bipul) whose past is deep ocean of secrets revolving around his deceased mother, Maya (Ananya Chatterjee). When he meets Aruna (Swastika Mukherjee), his classmate's mother, Rishi finds the affection he longed for all his life. What initiates as a motherlike bonding soon turns to a compulsive obsession destructing the lives of a perfectly normal family. Ananya Chatterjee
Ananya Chatterjee is an Indian actress who works in Bengali films. Known for her role in '' Abahoman'' which won her a National Award. She started her career as a TV actress. She acted in several TV serials and films, including three directed by Anjan Dutt. Her role as the muse of a married director in ''Abahoman'', directed by Rituparno Ghosh, won her the National Film Award for Best Actress. Kamaleswar Mukherjee, M.B.B.S. is an Indian film director, actor, and physician known for his work in Bengali-language films. Films directed by him include ''Chander Pahar'' (2013), '' Meghe Dhaka Tara'' (2013), '' Amazon Obhijaan'' (2017) '' Cockpit'' (2017). Early life and education Kamaleswar Mukherjee is a physician by training. He attended St. Lawrence High School, Kolkata and is an alumnus of the Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata, when it was affiliated with the University of Calcutta. He transitioned from the medical profession first to Group Theatre, then to the advertising world, and then to filmmaking. Swastika Mukherjee (born 13 December 1980) is an Indian actress and the daughter of the late Santu Mukhopadhyay. Mukherjee made her screen debut with ''Devdasi'', a Bengali TV series.
