Moheda IF
Moheda IF is a Swedish football club located in Moheda in Alvesta Municipality, Kronoberg County. Background Moheda Idrottsförening was founded in 1908 and is one of the oldest sports clubs in Småland. The club now concentrates exclusively on football, but in the past has covered athletics, orienteering, skiing, ice-hockey and table tennis within its activities. Lars-Åke Lagrell, the Swedish sports personality and president of the Swedish Football Association, has close links with Moheda IF. Since their foundation Moheda IF has participated mainly in the middle and lower divisions of the Swedish football league system. The club currently plays in Division 3 Sydöstra Götaland which is the fifth tier of Swedish football. Lars-Åke Lagrell (20 January 1940 near Växjö – 21 September 2020) was a Swedish sports personality who was the president of the Swedish Football Association between 1991 and 2012. In 2002 Prime Minister of Sweden Göran Persson appointed him Governor of Kronoberg County. Alvesta Municipality
Alvesta Municipality (''Alvesta kommun'') is a municipality in Kronoberg County, southern Sweden. Its seat is in Alvesta. The present municipality was created in 1971, when the market town (''köping'') Alvesta (instituted in 1945) was amalgamated with four surrounding rural municipalities. Amalgamations had also taken place in 1952 and 1963. The number of original local government entities within the present municipality is twelve. The municipal arms are from 1951 and depict three bees and a winged wheel.
