Major General Mohammed Takuti Usman is a Nigerian military officer, who is the Commander of the 81 Division, Nigerian Army. He was Commander of the Presidential Guard Brigade of Nigeria from 2019 to 2023, appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari on 4 August 2019 to replace the outgoing commander Brigadier General Umar Tama Musa. Usman had served as the company commander of Guards Brigade and Adjutant Commanding Officer of 177 Battalion, he held the Chief of Staff at the Brigade for three commanders as a colonel for four years. Mohammed Usman Edu (born June 12, 1980) is a Nigerian footballer. He plays for Kwara United F.C. of Ilorin. Career Otherwise called ‘Smart', Usman hails from Okene of Okene local government area of Kogi State, he has his eyes to play professional football abroad. He played for Julius Berger F.C. of Lagos where he won a third place in the Coca-Cola FA Cup in the 2001/2002 season. Yusuf Mohammed Usman Edu (born 2 March 1994) is a Nigerian footballer who plays for Israeli club Maccabi Bnei Reineh. Career International On 22 May, 2018 GOtvMaxCup match played on Tuesday, the Super Eagles were beaten 3-2 by Europa League winners Atletico Madrid, but Usman Mohammed a name to remember from the encounter. The triple shimmy combined with a neat step-over had Javi Montero twisted and confused, which created the opening, in which Mohammed calmly rolled in the ball for the Eagles’ equaliser in the 80th minute. Club Usman started his professional career in Nigeria with Kaduna-based club Ranchers Bees. After a year, he left and joined Taraba whom he later helped to the gain promotion to the Nigerian Premier League. Usman was later named the captain of the club at 18, which made him the youngest captain in the league. On 1 June 2019, FC Pyunik announced that they had released Usman by mutual consent.
