Mohammed Sarengat
Mohammad Sarengat (October 28, 1939 – October 13, 2014) was an Indonesian track and field sprinter. Sarengat became the first Indonesian athlete to win a gold medal at the Asian Games. He won gold in the 100-meter sprint at the 1962 Asian Games. Born in Kedunguter in Banyumas Regency, he grew up in Batang Regency before settling in Surabaya. Banyumas
Banyumas ( jv, ꦧꦚꦸꦩꦱ꧀, formerly spelt "Banjoemas") Regency is a regency ( id, kabupaten) in the southwestern part of Central Java province in Indonesia. Its capital is the town of Purwokerto, but that town no longer has a central administration and is split over four of the districts within the Regency, with a combined population of 230,235 as at mid 2021. It was the first Asian team to participate in the FIFA World Cup, particularly in the 1938 edition as Dutch East Indies. Gao , or Gawgaw/Kawkaw, is a city in Mali and the capital of the Gao Region. Maria Natalia Londa (born 29 October 1990 in Denpasar) is an Indonesian track and field athlete who competes in the long jump and triple jump.
