Mohammed Osman
Mohammed Osman ( ar, محمد عثمان; born 1 January 1994) is a Syrian footballer who plays for a Thai League 1 club Lamphun Warriors as an attacking midfielder. He is known for his strong and precise shots. Club career Born in Qamishli, Syria, to a Kurdish family, Osman joined Vitesse's youth setup in 2008, aged 15, after starting it out at DVV. On 5 July 2013, he signed his first professional contract with the club. On 22 May 2015, Osman signed a new one-year contract with the club, being definitely promoted to the main squad. He made his first team – and Eredivisie – debut on 14 August, coming on as a late substitute in a 3–0 home win against Roda JC. SBV Vitesse Arnhem (''Stichting Betaald Voetbal Vitesse Arnhem''), widely known as Vitesse () or internationally as well Vitesse Arnhem, is a Dutch professional association football, football club located in the municipality of Arnhem. Substitute (association Football)
In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. 2017–18 Eerste Divisie
The 2017–18 Eerste Divisie, known as Jupiler League for sponsorship reasons, was the sixty-second season of Eerste Divisie since its establishment in 1955. It began in August 2017 with the first matches of the season and ended in May 2018 with the returns of the finals of the promotion/relegation play-offs, involving also the 16th- and 17th-placed teams from the 2017–18 Eredivisie. Teams A total of 20 teams took part in the league. 2016–17 Eerste Divisie champions VVV-Venlo gained promotion to the Eredivisie, and was replaced by Go Ahead Eagles, who finished bottom in the 2016–17 Eredivisie. Tweede Divisie
Tweede Divisie ( en, Second Division) is the highest amateur (and historically the lowest professional) football league in the Netherlands. It was established in 1956, together with the Eredivisie and the Eerste Divisie. Between 1956 and 1960 and between 1962 and 1966, the league consisted of two divisions, Tweede Divisie A and Tweede Divisie B. The league was disbanded in 1971. Six clubs were promoted to the Eerste Divisie ( De Volewijckers, FC Eindhoven, FC VVV, Fortuna Vlaardingen, PEC and Roda JC), while the other eleven teams became amateur clubs. Plans for a new, amateur Tweede Divisie, to be made up of 4 reserve teams and 14 Topklasse clubs, were approved in a KNVB assembly in December 2014. 2016–17 Tweede Divisie
The 2016–17 Tweede Divisie season was the first edition of the Dutch third tier since its initial dissolution from the 1970-71 season and the fifteenth overall using " Tweede Divisie" name. Fourteen teams were completed from the Topklasse Saturday and Sunday divisions. Seven highest-placed teams of each division earned promotion to constitute a new, amateur Tweede Divisie. This change in the league system was approved in a KNVB assembly in December 2014. Thus, the Topklasse and leagues below it decremented by one level, and furthermore, promotion and relegation between the Tweede Divisie and the Topklasse were implemented. KNVB Cup
The KNVB Beker (; en, KNVB Cup), branded as the TOTO KNVB Beker for sponsorship reasons, is a competition in the Netherlands organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) since 1898. It was based on the format of the English FA Cup. Outside the Netherlands, it is often referred to as the Dutch Cup.
