Mohammed Mezher
Mohammed Mezher Herez El Ayawi ( ar, محمد مزهر; born 24 March 1998) is an Iraqi professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Al-Shorta in the Iraqi Premier League. Club career Naft Maysan Mezher started his career at boyhood club Naft Maysan, where he came up the youth ranks before making his debut for the first-team in 2017 in the Iraqi Premier League. Al-Shorta In January 2020, after impressing for Naft Maysan in their league match against defending champions Al-Shorta as well as the Iraq U-23s at the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship, the league's defending champions signed Mezher on loan until the end of the season, alongside teammate Akram Raheem, ahead of the season restart and their 2020 AFC Champions League campaign. PFC Krylia Sovetov Samara (russian: Профессиональный футбольный клуб «Крылья Советов» Самара) is a football club from Russia based in Samara. It returned to the Russian Premier League for the 2021–22 season. In 2004, they finished third in the Russian Premier League. History Krylia Sovetov was founded in Kuybyshev (now Samara) in 1942. On 21 April 1946 the team played its first match in the highest division in the USSR in Alma-Ata, in which they lost 1–2 to Zenit Leningrad. Al-Shorta Sports Club ( ar, نادي الشرطة الرياضي, lit=''Police Sports Club'') is an Iraqi sports club based in Al-Rusafa, Baghdad. It has teams in 17 different sports, more than any other Iraqi club, and the best known section of the club is the football team, whose origins date back to 1932. The Iraqi Super Cup ( ar, كأس السوبر العراقي), previously called Iraqi Perseverance Cup ( ar, كأس المثابرة العراقي), is Iraqi football's annual match contested between the champions of the previous Iraqi Premier League season and the holders of the Iraq FA Cup. If the Premier League champions also won the FA Cup then the league runners-up provide the opposition. The fixture is a recognised football super cup. The 2021–22 Iraqi Premier League is the 48th season of the Iraqi Premier League, the highest tier football league in Iraq, since its establishment in 1974. The season started on 20 September 2021 and will end on 29 May 2022. Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya are the defending champions after winning their seventh title last season. Al-Sinaa, Newroz and Samarra join as the three promoted clubs from the 2020–21 Iraq Division One. Abdul-Ghani Shahad
Abdul-Ghani Shahad (born 7 March 1968) is an Iraqi professional football coach and former player who is current manager of Naft Al-Wasat SC in the Iraqi Premier League. Abdul-Ghani started his playing career at Al-Najaf FC and remained a one club man throughout his career. Upon his retirement in 1999, he went in coaching and managed his hometown club Al-Najaf for 7 years, achieving a second place finish. He moved around and managed a number of Iraqi sides, before winning his first Iraqi Premier League title with Naft Al-Wasat. Abdul-Ghani went on to be appointed as manager of the Iraqi U23 national team, where he guided the team towards Olympic qualification and a third place finish in the AFC U-22 Championship.
