Mohammed Fareeduddin
Mohammed Fareeduddin (14 October 1957 – 29 December 2021) was an Indian politician who served as a Member of the Telangana Legislative Council. He was elected unopposed as a Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) candidate in 2016. Political career Fareeduddin was a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Andhra Pradesh for ten years to 2009. He began his political career as a sarpanch of chota Hyderabad and Hothi B in Zahirabad mandal, representing the Zahirabad constituency as an Indian National Congress (INC) politician. In the 2009 elections, the constituency, which had elected INC members in all but one of the elections since 1957, became reserved for candidates from the Scheduled Castes and his party preferred to put J. Geeta Reddy forward as their candidate. Therefore, Fareeduddin instead contested the Amberpet constituency, where he lost to G. Kishan Reddy of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Zaheerabad or Zahirabad, is an industrial city and Municipal Council in Sangareddy district of the Indian state of Telangana. 10TV is an Indian Telugu-language 24-hour news channel focused on the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It was launched on 16 March 2013 with the backing of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM). The channel was funded through crowdfunding from various affiliated associations and unions of CPM. It was marketed as an independent channel with a co-operative type ownership, free from the influences of big businesses. In 2018, there was a change in the ownership of the channel. It was reportedly bought by business houses close to some politicians. History The holding company of 10TV, Spoorthi Communications Private Limited, was incorporated in May 2012. Thummala Nageswara Rao
Thummala Nageswara Rao is Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) politician who has at various times been a minister in the Government of Andhra Pradesh and, later, in the Government of Telangana. He is from the Khammam district. Early life Nageshwar Rao was born on 15 November 1953 and is from Gollagudem village ( Gandugula Palli) of Dammapeta Mandal in Khammam District. He completed B.Com before entering in politics. Career He joined TDP in 1982 election but lost the 1983 election. Rao was elected on three occasions to the Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh as a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) candidate from Sathupalli constituency, in 1985, 1994 and 1999. Bifurcation Of Andhra Pradesh
The Telangana movement refers to a movement for the creation of a separate state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. The new state corresponds to the Telugu-speaking portions of the erstwhile princely state of Hyderabad, which were merged with Andhra Pradesh in 1956, leading to the Mulki Agitations. After decades of protests and agitations, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state and on 2 June 2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost 5 decades, it was one of the most long lasting movements in South India. On 18 February 2014, the Lok Sabha passed the bill with a voice vote.
