Mohammad Reza Tabesh
Mohammad Reza Tabesh ( fa, محمدرضا تابش, born 26 September 1956) is an Iranian reformist politician who is currently a member of the Parliament of Iran representing Ardakan electoral district. He was first elected as a parliament member in the 2000 election and was reelected for next four terms. On 15 June 2012, Tabesh was elected as head of Parliament's fraction on environment, while holding office as parliamentary leader of reformists' "Imam's line fraction" from 2004 to 2012, when the fraction was dissolved. He is nephew of former Iranian president Mohammad Khatami Sayyid Mohammad Khatami ( fa, سید محمد خاتمی, ; born 14 October 1943) is an Iranian politician who served as the fifth president of Iran from 3 August 1997 to 3 August 2005. Islamic Consultative Assembly
The Islamic Consultative Assembly ( fa, مجلس شورای اسلامی, Majles-e Showrā-ye Eslāmī), also called the Iranian Parliament, the Iranian Majles (Arabicised spelling Majlis) or ICA, is the national legislative body of Iran. The Parliament currently consists of 290 representatives, an increase from the previous 272 seats since the 18 February 2000 election. The most recent election took place on 21 February 2020 and the new parliament convened on 28 May 2020.
