Mohammad Pakpour
Mohammad Pakpour ( fa, محمد پاکپور) is a Brigadier-General and Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Ground Forces since 2009. History Mohammad Pakpour was involved with the IRGC at the beginning of the Islamic Revolution in the Kurdistan Province and was a veteran of the 8-year-long Iran–Iraq War. His responsibilities include five years of Army Operations Command, commander of the 8th Najaf Division, commander of 31st Ashura Division of Command chief Army's Northern Command headquarters. Pakpur has a PhD in Political Geography and has had responsibility for measures such as fighting terrorism in the northwest of Iran and establishing sustainable security in the southeast region of Iran, as well as the holding of specialized exercises. Sardar (IRGC)
Sardar ( fa, سردار), roughly equivalent to "General", is the honorific title used for officers of high rank, ranking Second Brigadier General and higher in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and commanders of the Law Enforcement Force of Islamic Republic of Iran (Police) who have previously served in the former military or the Islamic Revolution Committees, as well as the commanders of the disbanded Jihad of Construction. 31st Ashura Division
31st Ashura Division ( fa, لشکر 31 عاشورا) was a division of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. It covers the provinces of East Azarbaijan, West Azarbaijan, and Ardabil. It was first officially organized as the 1st Ashura Brigade ( fa, تیپ 1 عاشورا) under command of Mohammad Ali Jaafari during Iran–Iraq War, just before Operation Muharram. Hemaseh
The HESA Hamaseh ( fa, حماسه, Ḥamāseh, lit=Epic) is an Iranian tactical and reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with high flight endurance built by Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Industrial Company (HESA). The Hamaseh was unveiled in 2013 and entered service in 2016. Design The Hamaseh is a single engine, twin-boom UAV. The UAV features a bulbous forward radome; this was later reduced in size as the UAV was developed. The Hamaseh entered service with Iran in 2016. 8th Najaf Division
8th Najaf Ashraf Armored Division ( fa, لشکر 8 نجف اشرف) is a division of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. It was first officially organized as the 8th Najaf Ashraf Brigade ( fa, تیپ 8 نجف اشرف) during Iran–Iraq War, just after Operation Samen-ol-A'emeh. Initially, its fighters were mostly from the Najafabad County, Isfahan Province. The brigade was organized and nicknamed " Najaf Ashraf" by Ahmad Kazemi, which was appointed as its commander by Gholam Ali Rashid. Kazemi asked Mehdi Bakeri to become his deputy, after which forces from Azarbaijan Province and Zanjan Province also joined the unit. When Bakeri became the commander of the 31st Ashura Division, these forces joined the latter.
