Mohammad Jamali-Paqaleh
Brigadier general Mohammad Jamali-Paqaleh ( fa, محمد جمالی پاقلعه) (1963–2013) was an Iranian commander in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Revolutionary Guards who died in Syrian civil war. Biography Jamali-Paqaleh was born in 1963 in Paqaleh in Shahr-e Babak County, Kerman Province. When he was two years old, his father died. He completed primary school in the village and then migrated to Rafsanjan to continue his education. Iran–Iraq War Jamali-Paqaleh was a veteran of the Iran–Iraq War and was a member of the Sarallah division, the same division outfitted that had trained by General Qassem Soleimani. Operation Beit Ol-Moqaddas
Operation Beit-ol-Moqaddas ( fa, عملیات بیتالمقدس) or Operation Toward Beit-ol-Moqaddas () was an Iranian operation conducted during the Iran–Iraq War. The operation was a success, as it achieved its standing aim of liberating Khorramshahr and pushed Iraqi troops back to the border. This operation, coupled with Operation Tariq-ol-Qods, and Operation Fath-ol-Mobin, succeeded in evicting Iraqi troops from southern Iran and gave Iran the momentum. Ali Reza Tavassoli ( fa, علیرضا توسلی; 1962 – 28 February 2015) was the Afghan commander of the Fatemiyoun Brigade until he was killed in action fighting Jabhat al-Nusra in Daraa, Syria. Biography Ali Reza Tavassoli was born in 1962 in Afghanistan. Tavassoli lived in Mashhad and studied in Qom, Iran. He graduated from Al-Mustafa International University. Hossein Hamedani, also spelled Hamedani ( fa, حسین همدانی; December 15, 1950 – October 7, 2015), was an Iranian Revolutionary Guard commander. He was posthumously promoted to a Major General. Biography Hamadani was born in Abadan, Iran. His parents were originally from Hamadan. Hamadani first rose to prominence during the 1979 Kurdish rebellion in Iran and the Iran–Iraq War, where he helped suppress the Communist rebellion in Iranian Kurdistan. Mohammad Ali Jafari appointed him as Deputy Commander of the IRGC in 2005, and together they planned how to deal with any attempted "velvet revolution" in Iran. Hamadani subsequently helped to suppress the 2009 election protests in Iran. Sayyidah Zaynab Mosque ( ar, مَسْجِد ٱلسَّيِّدَة زَيْنَب, Masjid as-Sayyidah Zaynab) is a mosque located in the city of Sayyidah Zaynab, in the southern suburbs of Damascus, Syria.
