Mohammad Faheem (cricketer)
Mohammad Qasim Fahim ( prs, محمد فهیم, popularly known as "Marshal Fahim"; 1957 – 9 March 2014) was a military commander and politics of Afghanistan, politician in Afghanistan who served as Vice President of Afghanistan, Vice President from June 2002 until December 2004 and from November 2009 until his death. He was considered a powerful and influential figure during the Karzai Administration. Affiliated with Ahmad Shah Massoud's Jamiat Islami (Shura-e Nazar) party, Fahim captured the Afghan capital Kabul in the fall of 2001 from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (1996–2001), Taliban government as a military commander of the Northern Alliance.
