Mohammad Ayaz
Mohammad Ayaz (born 13 October 1987) is a Pakistani-born cricketer who plays for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. Ayaz is a left-handed batsman and left arm fast bowler. Career He made his first-class debut for Rawalpindi on 21 October 2007 in the 2007–08 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in Pakistan. By December 2011, he played in another thirteen first-class matches and two List A matches in Pakistan. Since 2015, he has represented the United Arab Emirates. He played in a twenty-over match against an England XI side in November 2015, during England's tour of the UAE. In January 2020, he was added to the UAE's One Day International (ODI) squad for the 2020 Oman Tri-Nation Series. In February 2020, he was named in the UAE's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the 2020 ACC Western Region T20 qualifier tournament. Jhelum
Jhelum ( Punjabi and ur, ) is a city on the east bank of the Jhelum River, which is located in the district of Jhelum in the north of Punjab province, Pakistan. It is the 44th largest city of Pakistan by population. Jhelum is known for providing many soldiers to the British Army before independence, and later to the Pakistan armed forces – due to which it is also known as ''City of Soldiers'' or ''Land of Martyrs and Warriors''. Jhelum is a few miles upstream from the site of the ancient Battle of the Hydaspes between the armies of Alexander and King Porus. Possibly Jhelum City was the capital of Porus' Kingdom, Paurava. Saudi Arabia National Cricket Team
The Saudi Arabia national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Saudi Arabia in international cricket. The Team is organized by the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2003 and associate member in 2016. Saudi Arabia made its international debut at the 2004 ACC Trophy in Malaysia, and has since played regularly in Asian Cricket Council (ACC) tournaments. After finishing second in the 2014 ACC Elite League, the team qualified for the World Cricket League for the first time. 2020 Asia Cup Qualifier
The 2022 Asia Cup Qualifier was a men's cricket tournament which took place in Oman in August 2022 to determine qualification for the 2022 Asia Cup (which was originally scheduled to be played in 2020). The 2020 editions of the ACC Western and Eastern Region T20 tournaments were held in February and March 2020 by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), with thirteen teams competing in total (eight in the Western event and five in the Eastern event) with the aim of progressing to the qualifier. These were scheduled to be followed by the Asia Cup Qualifier tournament in Malaysia, which was due to be played in August 2020. However, in July 2020, the Asia Cup was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in the postponement of the Qualifier. 2020 Oman Tri-Nation Series
The 2020 Oman Tri-Nation Series was the fourth round of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament and took place in Oman in January 2020. It was a tri-nation series between Oman, Namibia and the United Arab Emirates cricket teams, with the matches played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. The ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 formed part of the qualification pathway to the 2023 Cricket World Cup. After the first three ODIs, each team had won one match. The UAE then beat Namibia by eight wickets in the fourth match of the series. Oman's match against the UAE on 11 January 2020 was cancelled following the death of Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman, who had died the previous day.
