Mohammad Anwar Anwarzai
Mohammad Anwar Anwarzai is the Head of United Nations Department at the Afghan Foreign Ministry and the former Afghan ambassador to Pakistan. Diplomat in the 70s He started his career as a civil servant in 1960 and worked in various sections of the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He then got a diplomatic assignment as junior member of in the Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the United Nations. From 1964 to 1969 Anwarzai worked as Second Secretary directly under the supervision of the late Ambassador Abdul Rahman Pazhwak. From 1973 to 1976 Anwarzai served as the first Secretary in the Afghanistan Embassy in Moscow, USSR. From 1976-1978 he served as the Head of the Mission as Charged d' Affair in Tripoli, Libya. The Bonn Agreement (officially the Agreement on Provisional Arrangements in Afghanistan Pending the Re-Establishment of Permanent Government Institutions) was the initial series of agreements passed on December 5, 2001 during an international conference on Afghanistan held in Bonn. It was intended to re-create the Islamic State of Afghanistan following the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan that followed the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Since no nationally agreed-upon government had existed in Afghanistan since 1979, it was felt necessary to have a transition period before a permanent government was established. General Pervez Musharraf ( ur, , Parvez Muśharraf; born 11 August 1943) is a former Pakistani politician and four-star general of the Pakistan Army who became the tenth president of Pakistan after the successful military takeover of the federal government in 1999. He also served as the 10th Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee from 1998 to 2001 and the 7th Chief of Army Staff from 1998 to 2007. John Winston Howard (born 26 July 1939) is an Australian former politician who served as the 25th prime minister of Australia from 1996 to 2007, holding office as leader of the Liberal Party. Major General Philip Michael Jeffery, (12 December 1937 – 18 December 2020) was a senior Australian Army officer and vice-regal representative. He was the 28th governor of Western Australia from 1993 to 2000, and the 24th governor-general of Australia, serving from 2003 to 2008. Abdul Rahman Pazhwak
Abdul Rahman Pazhwak ( fa, عبدالرحمن پژواک; born March 7, 1919 – June 8, 1995) was an Afghan poet and diplomat. He was educated in Afghanistan and started his career as a journalist, but eventually joined the foreign ministry. During the 1950s, he became ambassador to the United Nations and served as president of the UN General Assembly from 1966 to 1967. During the early 1970s, he served for short periods as Afghan ambassador to West Germany and India. In 1976, he became ambassador to the United Kingdom. He served in that position until the 1978 Saur Revolution. He then returned to Afghanistan and was put under house arrest. He was allowed to leave for medical treatment in 1982 and received asylum in the United States, where he lived until 1991, before moving to Peshawar, Pakistan.
