Modern Democratic Party
The Modern Democratic Party ( ro, Partidul Democrat Modern, PDM) is a centre-right political party of the Republic of Moldova. It was founded and led by Andrian Candu, the former President of the Moldovan Parliament, under the original name of Pro Moldova. Since 2021, the acting president is Boris Foca, who changed the party's name to the Modern Democratic Party in 2023. History Pro Moldova first appeared on 20 February 2020 as a parliamentary group. This happened due to internal disagreements in the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM), which caused six deputies to leave the party. These were Andrian Candu, Sergiu Sîrbu, Vladimir Cebotari, Eleonora Graur, Grigore Repeșciuc and Corneliu Padnevici. Candu became the president of the group, while Sîrbu was appointed as the party secretary. Eight days later, on 28 February, the deputy Gheorghe Brașovschi left the PDM and joined to the group. Economic liberalism is a political and economic ideology that supports a market economy based on individualism and private property in the means of production. Adam Smith is considered one of the primary initial writers on economic liberalism, and his writing is generally regarded as representing the economic expression of 19th-century liberalism up until the Great Depression and rise of Keynesianism in the 20th century. TV8 (Moldova)
TV8 (formerly TV7) is a nonprofit television network based in Chișinău, Moldova. It is owned by the Public Association “Media Alternativa”, whose executive director is Natalia Morari. TV8 uses a programming strategy of international movies and tv shows, as well as local talk shows and news broadcasting. In 2017 the then owner of the channel, Chiril Lucinschi, transferred his ownership to "Media Alternativa". After the transfer, TV7 rebranded to TV8. Oleg (russian: Олег), Oleh ( uk, Олег), or Aleh ( be, Алег) is an East Slavic given name. The name is very common in Russia, Ukraine and Belаrus. Ruxanda Glavan (born 5 April 1980) is a Moldovan politician, who since 30 July 2015 until 25 July 2017 served as Minister of Health of Moldova. Previously, since 18 February 2015 until 30 July 2015 she served as Minister of Labour, Social Protection and Family of Moldova. Vladimir Cebotari (born 7 November 1980) is a Moldovan jurist and politician, who since 30 July 2015 is the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Moldova in the Streleț Cabinet. Previously, he was Deputy Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure (Moldova) from June 2013 to April 2015, and then, general director of the State Enterprise "Calea Ferată din Moldova" in April–July 2015. A parliamentary group, parliamentary party, or parliamentary caucus is a group consisting of some members of the same political party or electoral fusion of parties in a legislative assembly such as a parliament or a city council.
