Modenas CT Series
Modenas CT series is a series of underbone motorcycles produced by Malaysian motorcycle manufacturer, Modenas. The CT were first launched in 2009 as a legitimate successor of the popular Modenas Kriss series. Before the CT was developed, another underbone model known as Modenas Kristar was produced in 2004 but the production ended two years later due to lack of appeal. The 100 cc and 110 cc engines derived from the Kriss series remain unchanged, but with the addition of a decompression mechanism for the 110 cc model to ease kick start, starting. In 2011, an Electric motorcycles and scooters, electric version of the CT known as the Modenas CTric was launched, making the CTric as the first all-electric motorcycle being sold in Malaysia. In 2013, the fuel injection, fuel-injected version of the CT was launched in Greece as Modenas Kriss 125i EFI. VRLA Battery
A valve regulated lead–acid (VRLA) battery, commonly known as a sealed lead–acid (SLA) battery, is a type of lead–acid battery characterized by a limited amount of electrolyte ("starved" electrolyte) absorbed in a plate separator or formed into a gel; proportioning of the negative and positive plates so that oxygen recombination is facilitated within the cell; and the presence of a relief valve that retains the battery contents independent of the position of the cells. There are two primary types of VRLA batteries, absorbent glass mat (AGM) and gel cell (gel battery). The lead–acid gel batteries contain a mixture of sulfuric acid and finely divided silica. Brushless DC Electric Motor
A brushless DC electric motor (BLDC motor or BL motor), also known as an electronically commutated motor (ECM or EC motor) or synchronous DC motor, is a synchronous motor using a direct current (DC) electric power supply. It uses an electronic controller to switch DC currents to the motor windings producing magnetic fields which effectively rotate in space and which the permanent magnet rotor follows. The controller adjusts the phase and amplitude of the DC current pulses to control the speed and torque of the motor. This control system is an alternative to the mechanical commutator (brushes) used in many conventional electric motors. Honda Wave Series
The Honda Wave – also marketed as the Honda NF series (codename), Honda Innova in Europe, and Honda Supra in Indonesia – are a series of motorcycles manufactured by Honda that debuted in 1995 with an underbone design, having separate cosmetic plastic body panels over a structural steel tube chassis. The Wave series succeeds the Super Cub which used pressed steel frame acting as both the structural chassis and cosmetic bodywork. It serves as the Southeast Asian model of the historic Honda Cub. The Wave is available with three displacements - 100 cc, 110 cc and 125 cc.
