George Modelski
George Modelski was Professor Emeritus of political science in the University of Washington. Modelski was a professor there from 1967 to 1995. Before working at the University of Washington, Modelski was a senior research fellow at the Institute of Advanced Studies at the Australian National University. Modelski did work on long-term processes in global politics and economics, as well as the world urban macrodynamics and world system evolution. He was a neorealist. In 2012 he was awarded with the Bronze Kondratieff Medal by the International N. D. Kondratieff Foundation. Izydor Modelski
Izydor Modelski (born May 10, 1889, in L'viv, and died on September 25, 1962 in Washington DC) was a Polish spy and a lieutenant general of the Polish Army. Modelski also completed a doctorate in philosophy at the University of Lviv in 1917. In 1946, he was sent to the United States to establish a spy ring. Defying an order to return to Poland in 1948, he testified about his actions to the House Un-American Activities Committee in 1949. General Modelski is interred at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Washington, D.C. Witold Modelski
Witold Stefan Modelski (11 November 1932, Warsaw – 20 September 1944, Warsaw), pseudonym "Warszawiak", was a participant of Warsaw Uprising, a liaison officer in the Gozdawa Battalion, and the youngest (not quite 12 years old) participant in the Uprising fights. He was awarded the Polish Cross of Valour (Poland), Cross of Valour.
