History Model Town, established in 1921, is a fruition of Dewan Khem Chand's lifelong dream to see the establishment of what he called “ Garden Town”. Advocate Khem Chand's unshakeable belief in the values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity are the values of cooperation upon which the principles of cooperative societies are founded and the reason Model Town was established as and still is a cooperative society. Model Town (Delhi)
Model Town is an upscale neighbourhood situated in North Delhi, India. It was built in the early 1950s by the DLF Group, then known as Delhi Land and Finance, and is one of the first privately developed neighborhoods in Delhi. Model Town is a large area and divided into blocks and sub-colonies. It is one of the three administrative divisions of the North Delhi district, along with Alipur and Narela. History The Model Town site had earlier formed part of the Delhi Town Planning Committee's preferred site for the construction of New Delhi in 1912. Model Town Metro Station
This is a list of all stations of the Surat Metro, an under-construction rapid transit system serving Surat City and Surat Metropolitan Region of India. The Surat Metro will be the sixsth transit system to be built in India. The construction of Surat Metro was started on 18 January 2021 with 2 lines Red Line & Green Line with the total number of 38 stations, the project is expected to be completed by December 2027, which will cover a distance of 41 kilimeters. The metro network will allow Surat to connect with Sarthana to DREAM City (22-kilometre (14 mi)) and from Bhesan Depot to Saroli (18-kilometre (11 mi)). Each line of the Surat Metro is identified by a specific color. Humak is also the name of the Union Council governing this town, as well as the nearby Kotha Kalan and Naizian'' Model Town Humak is a suburb town of Islamabad, Pakistan started in 1984. Located in Islamabad Capital Territory on Kahuta Road, Model Town is situated on Humak village land near the Swaan River. The area was formerly a jungle. According to the ''District Rawalpindi'' gazette of 1893, Humak was on the main railway line from Jhelum to Rawalpindi; those lines have since been relocated.
