Liberty City is a neighborhood in Miami, Florida, United States. The area is roughly bound by NW 79th Street to the north, NW 27th Avenue to the west, the Airport Expressway to the South, and Interstate 95 to the east. The neighborhood is home to one of the largest concentrations of African Americans in South Florida, as of the 2000 census. Although it was often known as "Model City" both historically and by the City of Miami government, residents more commonly call it Liberty City. Model City, New York
Model City is a hamlet in the town of Lewiston in Niagara County, New York, United States. It was conceived as an urban utopia by an ambitious entrepreneur named William T. Love in the 1890s. He planned it to be "The most beautiful arkin the world" and planned housing for more than 1 million people and a canal and hydroelectric plant. Love promised in his advertising pamphlets that the city would be free of smog-filled skies, that the land would be beautifully landscaped, housing and quality of life would be a cut above even the loveliest urban environments. However, his plans were never realized, and amid the panic of 1894 his investors backed out. He went on to manage an Ontario gold mine a few years later, leaving his projects idle. He had only built a few streets before he became bankrupt. Ironically, despite its environmentally-friendly conception Model City is now home to an enormous landfill owned by Waste Management. Model Colony Karachi is a neighborhood in Karachi, Pakistan,Malir Town - Government of Pakistan
that is within Korangi District. It is situated on the outskirts of the city about two miles northeast of Jinnah International Airport, Karachi's international airport. Other important buildings in the vicinity are the Security Press, which is Pakistan's mint (coin), mint, and the SOS Village, which houses about 200 orphans. Model Housing Estate is a public housing estate located at King's Road in Tsat Tsz Mui between Quarry Bay and North Point in Hong Kong, near MTR Quarry Bay station Exit C. It is the oldest existing public housing estate in Hong Kong. It comprises 7 residential blocks completed in 1954 and 1979 respectively, offering a total of 667 flats. Background Unlike other public housing estate, Model Housing Estate was developed by neither the Hong Kong Housing Authority nor the Hong Kong Housing Society. Instead, it was developed by a voluntary organization called "Hong Kong Model Housing Society" (). The estate was developed in two phases.
