Mod (film)
''Mod'' is a 2011 Hindi romantic drama movie by Nagesh Kukunoor, starring Ayesha Takia and Rannvijay Singh, with Raghubir Yadav, Tanvi Azmi and Anant Mahadevan. The movie was released on 14 October 2011. Plot A 25-year-old woman named Ananya lives in a beautiful hill station called Ganga in Southern India's Nilgiris district, with her father, Ashok Mahadeo, and aunt, Gayatri Garg. Ashok is the head of the local Kishore Kumar fan club while Gayatri runs a restaurant. Ananya's mother left home years ago to pursue her dreams. Ashok still waits for her to return. A local shopkeeper, Gangaram, who they owe money to, has feelings for Ananya. In order to support herself and her father, Ananya runs a watch repair store where she meets a stranger named Andy. Nagesh Kukunoor
Nagesh Kukunoor (born 30 March 1967) is an Indian film director, producer, screenwriter and actor known for his works predominantly in Hindi cinema, and few Telugu language films. He is known for his works in parallel cinema, such as ''Hyderabad Blues'' (1998), '' Rockford'' (1999), ''Iqbal'' (2005), '' Dor'' (2006), ''Aashayein'' (2010), ''Lakshmi'' (2014), and '' Dhanak'' (2016). Kukunoor has received seven International Awards, and two National Film Awards for his works. Vijay Prakash (born 21 February 1976) is an Indian Playback singer and also a Music Composer from Karnataka. He has given his voice for predominantly Kannada and Telugu language films.
