Beeline (russian: Билайн), earlier Bee Line GSM (russian: Би Лайн GSM) is a telecommunications brand by company PJSC VimpelCom, founded in Russia. PJSC VimpelCom is Russia's third-largest wireless and second-largest telecommunications operator. Its headquarters is located in Moscow. Since 2009, PJSC VimpelCom has been a subsidiary of VimpelCom Ltd., which has become Veon in 2017. It is based in Amsterdam. VimpelCom's main competitors in Russia are Mobile TeleSystems, MegaFon and Tele2. The commercial service was launched under the Beeline brand, a brand developed by Fabela in late 1993 to differentiate the company as a youthful and fun company, rather than a technical company. The name comes from the English term "beeline", meaning the most direct way between two points. Mobitel (Iraq-Kurdistan)
Mobitel Iraq is the first mobile 3G operator in Iraq. It was launched commercially in February 2007. Mobitel was licensed by the Kurdistan Regional Government{{Citation needed, date=March 2009 of Iraq to operate in all Kurdish regions. Mobitel currently covers Erbil Governorate and Duhok Governorate and is in the planning phase to cover Sulaimaniyah Governorate. In July 2007, Mobitel was the first operator in Iraq to start 3.5G services. Services Mobitel offers basic 3G services such as broadband Internet, video calling and others. Mobitel was facing interconnection problems with major telecom operators in Iraq. Mobitel (Slovenia)
Mobitel was a Slovenian GSM/UMTS/LTE mobile operator. The company merged with Telekom Slovenije in 2013. History Mobitel was established in October 1991 as a limited liability company. The founder was SP PTT Ljubljana, which was joined by other Slovenian PTT companies by the end of the year. In November 1992, Mobitel was transformed into a public limited company. In 1991, the company already set up the NMT analogue network for mobile telephony in Slovenia. In 1994, PTT Slovenija separated postal and telecommunication activities and transferred the latter, together with the infrastructure, to the newly founded Telekom Slovenije, which became the owner of a 100-per-cent share of Mobitel.
