Pallacanestro Milano 1958 is an Italian amateur basketball club based in Milan. Following an uninterrupted presence in the top tier Serie A from 1964 to 1980, the club fell down the divisions and plays in the fifth division amateur Serie C Regionale, Girone B as of the 2014-15 season. History Pallacanestro Milano was founded in 1955 by Valentino Milanaccio in order for his son and his friends from the San Gioachimo oratory to play basketball. From 1955 to 1957 it participated in the leagues of the Centro Sportivo Italiano, a christian sporting organisation, winning the national title in 1956. Aldo Ossola
Aldo Ossola (born 13 March 1945) is an Italian former basketball player. At a height of 1.92 m (6'3 "), he was a point guard with a great ability to set the offensive rhythm and game tempo for his team. He is a member of the Italian Basketball Hall of Fame, inducted in 2008. His older brother, Luigi Ossola, played football professionally, in the Serie A, and another older half-brother Franco Ossola, was one of the highest all-time scorers of the Torino F.C. Garelli Motorcycles was an Italian moped and motorcycle manufacturer. It was founded in 1919 by Adalberto Garelli (10 July 1886 – 13 January 1968). Riccardo Sales
Riccardo Sales (14 August 1941 – 14 May 2006) was an Italian basketball player and coach. From 1969-1974 he coached Pallacanestro Milano 1958, before joining Nuova Pallacanestro Gorizia for several season. In 1977, Sales moved to Basket Brescia where he stayed until 1983. In 1979, Sales began a term vice coaching the Italy national basketball team, Italian national basketball team, ending in 1988. From 1983-1986 he coached Pallacanestro Varese, and moved to Pallacanestro Treviso until 1990. In 1990-1991, Sales returned to his old club Basket Brescia, and joined Pallacanestro Trapani for the 1992-3 season. His final term coaching was the Italy women's national basketball team, women's national team in 1994 until 2000, during which he led them to the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, and to three EuroBasket tournaments in 1995, 1997 and 1999. Alessandro "Sandro" Gamba (born 3 June 1932) is an Italian former professional basketball player and coach. Gamba was a finalist for induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2005, and was elected as a member in 2006. He was inducted in 2006 to the Italian Basketball Hall of Fame.
