Amaan Stadium
Amaan Stadium (also spelled Amani) is a stadium in Zanzibar, Tanzania. The stadium holds 15,000 people. History The stadium was built with Chinese government aid and opened in 1970. This was China's first stadium project in Africa and it marked the beginning of its stadium diplomacy over the decades. The stadium was the location of a ceremony on 5 February 1977, uniting the Afro-Shirazi Party and the Tanganyika African National Union into the Chama cha Mapinduzi. The flags of the respective parties were raised and lowered for the last time with the flag of the Chama cha Mapinduzi then being raised. Amani Abeid Karume was sworn in as president of Zanzibar on 8 November 2000. The stadium underwent refurbishment again with Chinese assistance, reopening in 2010. Oserian ( Masai, "Place of Peace"; locally, The Gin Palace; later, Djinn Palace) is a flower farm on the south shores of Lake Naivasha, Nakuru County, Kenya. It is Africa's largest rose producer. Oserian's wildlife corridor is more than in width through its property with reaches to the lake; it occupies more than of shoreline. History Originally a country estate, the Moorish-style mansion was built in 1927 by Major Cyril Ramsay-Hill, a rancher, former officer in an Indian regiment, and sometime Hollywood actor. It was based on his grandmother's home in Seville, Spain. The 2020–21 CAF Champions League qualifying rounds were played from 28 November 2020 to 6 January 2021. A total of 54 teams competed in the qualifying rounds to decide the 16 places in the group stage of the 2020–21 CAF Champions League. Draw The draw for the qualifying rounds was held on 9 November 2020 at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt. The entry round of the 54 teams entered into the draw was determined by their performances in the CAF competitions for the previous five seasons (CAF 5-year ranking points shown in parentheses).
