Ehtesham
Abu Nur Muhammad Ehteshamul Haq (1927 – 17 February 2002), known as Captain Ehtesham, was a Bangladeshi and Pakistani film director. On his death in 2002 he was described as a Innovator, pioneer of the film industry in Dhaka, and one of Bangladesh's leading directors. Birth and early life Ehtesham was born in Dhaka on 12 October 1927. His father, Mohammad Yusuf, was a professor at Maulana Azad College, Islamia College and his mother, Mosammat Kaniz Fatema, was a house wife. Career Ehtesham first became a film cinema distributor in 1950. He was credited with the discovery of many noted actors. In 1956 he began his first film, ''Ei Desh Tomar Amar'' ("This country is yours and mine"), which marked the first film acting appearance for both Subhash Dutta and Shabnam. He made successful films in Urdu and then, after the independence of Bangladesh, in Bengali language, Bengali. Nadeem Baig (actor)
Mirza Nazeer Baig (born 19 July 1941), also known by his stage name Nadeem ( ur, ندیم) is a Pakistani actor, singer and producer. He has appeared in over two hundred films and has won the 1997 Pride of Performance award. In Pakistan Nadeem enjoys the same status as Amitabh Bachchan enjoys in India. Early life Baig was born in Vijayawada in modern Andhra Pradesh which, in 1941, was part of Madras Presidency in British India. Nadeem Baig migrated to Dhaka, East Pakistan along with his family after the independence of Pakistan in 1947. Bilquis Khanum, also known as Nisho (Urdu; نشو۔; born 1954) is a Pakistani film actress. Early life Bilquis Begum was born on 1954 in Gujrat, Punjab, Pakistan. She completed her studies from University of Punjab. Career In the beginning, ''Nisho'' did theatre at school. She made her big screen debut in the film ''Baazi'' in 1970. Yasmeen Khan (actress)
Shamshad known by her alias Yasmeen Khan (1950, Peshawar – 15 April 1999, Peshawar) was a Pakistani actress. She was a popular actress who starred in many Pashto films. She was murdered on 15 April 1999. Personal life Yasmeen was born as Shamshad in Kakshal, Peshawar in 1950 to Moeen Khan and Syed Bibi. In the 1960s, her family moved to Karachi where she was able to take up a role in her career's first film. Soon Yasmeen's popularity grew in films and she became a well known actress. Afzaal Ahmad
Afzaal Ahmad ( died 2 December 2022) was a Pakistani actor. He came into limelight with his roles in the following movies: International Gorillay, Aakhri Muqabala and London. Life and career Afzaal Ahmad had over four decades of an acting career. He started in the 1970s by featuring in Dhiyan Namanian. Muhammad Qavi Khan ( ur, ) is a Pakistani film and television actor. He has also worked in Radio Pakistan and on stage. Though now largely working in television, he has acted in over 200 films. Muslehuddin (composer)
Moslehuddin (born Abul Qasim Mohammed Moslehuddin; 27 October 1932 6 August 2003; also spelled Muslehuddin) was a Pakistani film score composer and music director. He composed music for sixteen Lollywood films besides contributing to Pakistan Television Corporation, Pakistan Television, the BBC, Music of Bengal, Bengali music and stage and TV shows.
