Mitchell Cornish
Mitch Cornish (born 28 January 1993) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who last played for the Sydney Roosters in the National Rugby League, as a or . He previously played for the Canberra Raiders. Background Cornish was born in Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia. He is the older brother of former Gold Coast Titans player Tyler Cornish. He played his junior rugby league for the Goulburn Stockmen, before being signed by the Canberra Raiders. Each of the thirteen players is assigned a position, normally with a standardised number, which reflects their role in attack and defence, although players can take up any position at any time. The Parramatta Eels are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in the Sydney suburb of Parramatta that competes in the National Rugby League. The Parramatta District Rugby League Football Club was formed in 1947, and their home ground was Parramatta Stadium (formerly Cumberland Oval). The Wests Tigers are an Australian professional Rugby league, rugby league football team, based in the Inner West and South West Sydney. The Queensland Residents rugby league team is a representative rugby league team consisting of players who compete in the Intrust Super Cup (Queensland Cup) competition. They currently play an annual fixture against NSW Cup Representative Team, often as a curtain raiser to a State of Origin game. The 2014 NRL season was the 107th season of professional rugby league in Australia and the 17th season of the National Rugby League in Australia and New Zealand. The 2014 NRL Auckland Nines (known as the Dick Smith NRL Auckland Nines due to sponsorship) was the first NRL Auckland Nines tournament, contested between all sixteen teams of the National Rugby League. The draw was released on 30 October 2014. It was a two-day, nine-a-side, knockout tournament held at Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand.
