Mitch White (baseball)
Mitchell Harrison White (born December 28, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Toronto Blue Jays organization. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Amateur career White attended Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, California and played college baseball at Santa Clara University. He missed his freshman season in 2014 after undergoing Tommy John surgery. He returned in 2015 as a relief pitcher and in 2016 became a starter. After his sophomore season, he was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the second round of the 2016 Major League Baseball Draft. Professional career Los Angeles Dodgers White made his professional debut with the Arizona League Dodgers. After two starts, he was promoted to the Great Lakes Loons and ended the season with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. Mitch White (born 10 April 1996) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). A defender, tall and weighing , White plays primarily as a half-back flanker. He entered top-level football early when he played as a bottom-aged player for the Dandenong Stingrays in the TAC Cup in 2013, the next season saw him win the club best and fairest. He was recruited by the Melbourne Football Club with the twentieth selection in the 2015 rookie draft and he made his AFL debut during the 2015 season. He played four matches in the AFL before he was delisted at the conclusion of the 2017 season. Early life White was raised in Carrum Downs, Victoria and played his junior football with the Seaford Football Club. Mitchell White (born 28 March 1973) is a former Australian rules football (AFL) player who played for the West Coast Eagles and Geelong. Along with Glen Jakovich, White was a priority draft choice from WA in 1990. In 1996 he was outstanding after being switched to center half forward after being a defender for his whole career. If it hadn't been for some school mates he would have probably kept playing rugby league and he did not play competitive football till his early teens. By 17 he was playing senior football for Subiaco. He played just two games for the Eagles in 1991 then advanced to be part of the 1992 flag side. A severe groin injury wrecked his 1993 and most of the 1994 season. Not a big marking player, he was very mobile and had strong hands.
