Misty Oldland
Misty Oldland (born Michéle Oldland) is a British singer-songwriter. Her songs include " A Fair Affair (Je T'Aime)" and "Got Me a Feeling", featuring soul singer Omar Lye-Fook. Three of her singles charted on the UK Singles Chart while also scoring top 10 singles across Europe and Japan. Most notably in France, her album ''Supernatural'' topped the charts for six months and in Iceland it was also number one. Oldland's songs have been covered by international artists Ophélie Winter (France), Kate Ceberano (Australia) and Bonnie Pink (Japan). Oldland's other work includes presenting ''Soul of MTV'' and co-founding rare groove, soul and hip-hop club Slow Motion with video director and former partner Jake Nava. Andrew Roachford (born 22 January 1965) is a British singer-songwriter and the main force behind the band Roachford, who scored their first success in 1989 with the hits " Cuddly Toy" and "Family Man". ''British Hit Singles & Albums'' (originally known as ''The Guinness Book of British Hit Singles'' and ''The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums'') was a music reference book originally published in the United Kingdom by the publishing arm of the Guinness breweries, Guinness Superlatives. Later editions were published by HiT Entertainment (who had bought the Guinness World Records brand). It listed all the singles and albums featured in the Top 75 pop charts in the UK. In 2004 the book became an amalgamation of two earlier Guinness publications, originally known as ''British Hit Singles'' and ''British Hit Albums''. Climate Rush is a UK organisation that campaigns on various environmental issues related to climate change. Tamsin Omond (born 19 November 1984) is a British author, environmental activist and journalist. They have campaigned for the government of the United Kingdom to take action to avoid climate change. Early life and education Tamsin Omond was born on 19 November 1984. They were educated at Westminster School and Trinity College, Cambridge. Pauline Helène "Polly" Higgins (4 July 1968 – 21 April 2019) was a Scottish barrister, author, and environmental lobbyist, described by Jonathan Watts in her obituary in ''The Guardian'' as, "one of the most inspiring figures in the green movement". She left her career as a lawyer to focus on environmental advocacy, and unsuccessfully lobbied the United Nations Law Commission to recognise ecocide as an international crime.
