Diane Simmes (born February 8, 1956), better known by her ring name Misty Blue Simmes, is an American former professional wrestler. Career Beginning Simmes got into wrestling after learning to box and being part of an all-female boxing show. From there, she was invited to Killer Kowalski's wrestling school where she trained for 18 months prior to her first match. American Wrestling Association Simmes competed for the American Wrestling Association in a 10 woman battle royal at WrestleRock 86 on April 20, 1986. The match was won by Sherri Martel. Killer Kowalski
Walter Kowalski (born Edward Władysław Spulnik; October 13, 1926 – August 30, 2008), known professionally as Killer Kowalski, was a Polish-Canadian professional wrestler. Kowalski wrestled for numerous promotions during his career, including the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and World Wide Wrestling Federation ( WWWF, now WWE), and was a known villain professional wrestler. He held numerous championships including the WWWF World Tag Team Championship with Big John Studd billed as The Executioners and managed by Lou Albano. Barry Clinton Windham (born July 4, 1960) is an American retired professional wrestler. The son of wrestler Blackjack Mulligan, he is best known for his appearances with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). In NWA/WCW, he was a one-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, a one-time United States Heavyweight Champion, a one-time Television Champion, a one-time Western States Heritage Champion, a four-time NWA (Mid Atlantic)/WCW World Tag Team Champion and a one-time NWA United States Tag Team Champion with Ron Garvin. IWCCW Women's Championship
The ICW / IWCCW Women's Championship was a women's professional wrestling championship in International World Class Championship Wrestling that existed from 1985 until the federation closed its doors in 1995. The title was first promoted as the “International Championship Wrestling Women’s Title” but was later renamed the “International World Class Championship Wrestling Women’s title” when the federation was renamed as well. The Women's title is the earliest ICW created title in existence with both the ICW Tag-team and the ICW Heavyweight title being created after ICW and WWC stopped working together. Rhonda Ann Singh (February 21, 1961 – July 27, 2001) was a Canadian professional wrestler. After training with Mildred Burke, she wrestled in Japan under the name Monster Ripper. In 1987, she returned to Canada and began working with Stampede Wrestling, where she was their first Stampede Women's Champion. Ladies Professional Wrestling Association
The Ladies Professional Wrestling Association (LPWA) was a women's professional wrestling promotion which operated in the early 1990s (ca. 1989–1992). It was considered a successor to such women's promotions as Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW), but it differed in that, while GLOW slanted more toward WWF-style sports entertainment, the LPWA treated its product seriously and put its primary emphasis on in-ring athletics.
