Strullendorf
Strullendorf is a community in the Upper Franconian district of Bamberg. Geography Location Strullendorf lies in a valley and is partly surrounded by the Hauptsmoorwald (forest), near which lies the Hauptsmoorhalle (a concert venue). The Hauptsmoorwald stretches all the way to Bamberg and parts of it are used by the US Army stationed there as a training area. A particularly pleasant place in Strullendorf is the Lindenallee, with its huge old trees. Constituent communities Strullendorf’s main and namesake centre is by far the biggest of its ''Gemeindeteile'' with a population of 4,191. Bamberg () is a ''Landkreis'' (district) in Bavaria, Germany. It surrounds but does not include the town of Bamberg. Upper Franconia (german: Oberfranken) is a ''Regierungsbezirk'' (administrative 'Regierungs''region 'bezirk'' of the state of Bavaria, southern Germany.
