Route 180 is a highway in the St. Louis, Missouri area. Its western terminus is at Interstate 270 (I-270) in Bridgeton, running east into the western neighborhoods of St. Louis to its eastern terminus at Kingshighway Boulevard, the border of the St. Louis neighborhoods of Kingsway West and Kingsway East. Route description Route 180 is co-signed with Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, where the Drive (which originates farther east, where the Martin Luther King Bridge crosses the Mississippi River into central St. Louis) continues through to join Route 180's eastern terminus at Kingshighway Boulevard, in St. Louis. Charlack is a city in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,304 at the 2020 census. Geography The name of the city is a portmanteau, derived from its location at the intersection of St. Charles Rock Road with Lackland Road. Wellston, Missouri
Wellston is a city in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States, along the northwest border of the city of St. Louis. The population was 2,313 at the 2010 census. History Wellston was incorporated as a city in 1909; due to "government difficulties" the city was dissolved three years later, only to be reestablished in 1949. The city was named for Erastus Wells. During the early 1900s, the Wagner Electric Company, a manufacturer of small motors for appliances and transformers, began development along Plymouth Avenue in Wellston, growing to occupy the entire block and providing 4,500 jobs during World War I. Pagedale, Missouri
Pagedale is a city in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. The population was 3,310 at the 2010 census. History The area originally was farmland, but it did have an interesting history with several pockets of significant Greek and African-American residents. Because St. Vincent's mental hospital was located just north of St. Charles Rock Road, a streetcar line was constructed in the late 1800s from just south of Olive Street Road in University City north on the east side of Ferguson Avenue through what is now Pagedale to meet the electric interurban line to Saint Charles at the Rock Road. The south end of the line eventually joined with the Creve Coeur Lake streetcar line which ran on Vernon Avenue (but later was relocated a block further south to run behind a new subdivision). Lindbergh Boulevard
Lindbergh Boulevard, named after the aviator, Charles Lindbergh, is a section of U.S. Routes 61 and 67 that extends through Missouri. Lindbergh Boulevard is home to Missouri's only traffic tunnel underneath a runway at Lambert–St. Louis International Airport. History Lindbergh Boulevard was initially a bypass of St. Louis, designated in about 1930 as Route 77 from Mehlville to the Chain of Rocks Bridge. The part north of Dunn Road, where Route 77 turned off to access the bridge, was initially Route M and later Route 140. Route 77 was later extended at the south end to the Jefferson Barracks Bridge, and US 61 and US 66 were realigned onto the bypass, leaving only this extension as Route 77.
