Miss World Vietnam 2022 was the 2nd edition of the Miss World Vietnam pageant. It was held on August 12, 2022, at Merry Land, Quy Nhơn, Bình Định, Vietnam. Miss World Vietnam 2019 Lương Thùy Linh crowned her successor Huỳnh Nguyễn Mai Phương at the end of the event. The pageant crowned the Vietnam representative to compete at Miss World 2023. Đỗ Mỹ Linh (born 13 October 1996) is a Vietnamese model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Vietnam 2016. She represented Vietnam at the Miss World 2017. Personal life Linh was born in Hanoi. She is a student of Foreign Trade University. She is married to Đỗ Vinh Quang, who is the Chairman of Hanoi FC. The wedding took place on October 23rd, 2022. The term ''tiền'' ( Hán tự: 錢) is used to refer to various currency-related concepts used in Vietnamese history. The name is a cognate with the Chinese ''qián'' (錢), a unit of weight called " mace" in English. Miss Earth 2016
Miss Earth 2016, the 16th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, with the theme "Empowered to make a Change", was held on October 29, 2016, at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. 83 contestants from all over the world competed for the title. Angelia Ong of the Philippines crowned her successor Katherine Espín of Ecuador at the end of the event becoming the second Ecuadorian woman to win the title of Miss Earth and the first since Olga Álava in 2011. This year's edition also features the newly polished and modified crown created by Florida-based jeweler, ''Ramona Haar''.
