Miss Venezuela 1991 was the 38th Miss Venezuela pageant, was held in Caracas, Venezuela on May 23, 1991, after weeks of events. The winner of the pageant was Carolina Izsak, Miss Amazonas. The pageant was broadcast live on Venevision from the Poliedro de Caracas in Caracas. At the conclusion of the final night of competition, outgoing titleholder Andreina Goetz, crowned Carolina Izsak of Amazonas as the new Miss Venezuela. Carolina Izsak
Carolina Éva Izsák Keményfy (born September 21, 1971 in Caracas) is a Venezuelan beauty queen who competed in the 1992 Miss Universe pageant on May 8, 1992 and placed fourth after being the leader of the competition that night. Early life Izsák was born to a Hungarian family. She was crowned Miss Venezuela 1991 representing the state of Amazonas. Her runner-up in the pageant was Ninibeth Leal of Zulia, who later would be crowned Miss World 1991. Miss Universe Izsák went on to represent her country in the 1992 Miss Universe pageant held in Bangkok, Thailand in May 1992. When the pageant began, Izsák won all three preliminary competitions: swimsuit, interview and evening gown. Miss Venezuela (Spanish: ''Organización Miss Venezuela'') is the national beauty pageant of Venezuela, traditionally held in September. It is preceded by two or three months of preliminary events, with the awarding of corporate prizes. Lara State ( es, Estado Lara, ) is one of the 23 states of Venezuela. The state capital is Barquisimeto. Lara State covers a total surface area of and, in 2015, had a census population of 2,019,211.
